Are we one the up or are Wellington that bad? Probably both, but we're looking strong nonetheless.
Sydney won? What is this sorcery!
Yeah dominant defensively and did quite well in attack also. Surprising and morale lifting that we did it without the Italian superstar :)
And a win in the derby is basically a gurantee that we won't be bottom of the table.
It's a step up, but the red and white turds were pretty s**t anyway. At least the losing streak's over.
Looking forward to what Farina might bring to the team a little bit more after this game. We weren't brilliant, but definitely not the disorganised idiots running around like headless chickens in the past few games. We might miss out on the wooden spoon yet again. With this luck.
A few notes
Thought we were good. Really happy with Vedran and Grant who I thought were our best. Terry was decent until that shocking pass at the end. Alot better this week for sure.
The more you watch the side, you can see potential and the idea, the execution or system just hasn't been quite right, maybe even Crook's influence and instruction hasn't been the greatest.
Our biggest issue is that we are too slow and indecisive on the ball.

Bye Crook, Didn;t think you were going to work anyway, even though I wanted you to see it till half the season, but conceding 10 goals in 2 games is bloody atrocious, I hope to god we don't sign Farina. I actually wouldn't mind Merrick tbh, despite being from the scum. Yorke would be a gamble, but perhaps he could pull it off.
Need someone good at structuring a team that works from the back. Our midfield and back line are a huge problem. Also need someone that can handle the demands of the club and the team itself as well. Someone with great tenacity and ability to motivate. Who could this be?? No idea yet.
