Javier Mascherano tallied the lone goal of the match in the 79th minute to give Argentina a 1-0 win over Paraguay in the final contest of Group C play in the 2007 Copa America competition. The win allows Argentina to claim the top spot in Group C and set up a quarterfinal matchup on Sunday with Peru, while Paraguay finishes second in the group and will meet Group B winner Mexico on Sunday.
