Substitute Louis Saha marked his season debut with a vital winning goal as United struggled to beat Roy Keane’s team, Sunderland.
Quick link: Highlights including post match interviews and analysis.
Former Manchester United player, Roy Keane returned to Old Trafford but it was a no sentimental return for him, it was business as usual, and as he said in an interview, “Expect no hugs and kisses”. A host of former United players returned to Old Trafford such as Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole who was as a spectator due to an injury.
Before the action, both teams assembled into a guard of honour for Ole Gunner Solskjaer whom he retired completely from football this week. The veteran striker received a big applause from his team mates, Sunderland squad and from all of the 4 corners in ground, which it was a very sentimental moment for everyone.
