Just for Fun (Midfielder)
I'm a big fan of defensive midfielders who clean up the midfield, win balls, keep possession, and don't stop running.

I love the surge of excitement in the stadium when a team finds an outside back with space to attack.

I think tackling and one-on-one defensive play are underrated.

Attacking soccer is about putting an opponent on their heels. Tricky dribbling, off-the-ball movement, or one-touch passing and give-and-goes are all successful strategies. Arsenal use all three better than almost any team, and that is why I support them.

That said, I'll reluctantly admit that if I were spending Roman Abramovich's money, I would have bought most of the same players. Chelsea have a physical verve that is very tough to overcome.

What kind of sick joke was it to put Bob Pires out there to stroll around for a half?

If I could vote for the handball for goal of the week, I would. The timing and deceptiveness in that movement were first class.
Mascherano would have helped them immensely in this match. Their response to selling him was to buy Meireles... he doesn't seem to give Gerrard much cover. To p...
Agreed. Seedorf is right that Arsenal didn't have the ball in the right areas. Maybe with Fabregas and Van Persie they would have had a chance.
No matter how beautiful they play, I can never bring myself to be a fan of Milan because of Berlusconi.
Milan are relevant again! Flamini will give them a dimension that they were lacking with the way that he runs and make tackles. Ronaldinho, Robinho and Ibra all...
Perhaps the cheesiest fanboy video I've ever seen. Love it!
He needs to play in the CC. He decided not to go on loan because he thought he had a chance to play some at Arsenal. I'm personally glad that they didn't get Sc...
Thanks for the add
Why do Everton continue to play Fellaini? He's useless.
I felt that when they bought Ronaldinho, he was purchased primarily for entertainment and marketing purchases to distract the fans while the team was rebuilt. H...
Crap match. Wigan gave the points away and Man City were barely competent enough to accept them.
Yes,what a great result,I thought we would win....but certainly gives that `feel good` factor.I`m loving what Wilshere is doing on the pitch along side...
Milan actually looked potent, although I think that is more down to Auxerre's ineptitude than anything else. They gave Milan far too much space with the ball. M...
The announcer said it well: 'we all purr when Arsenal are playing like this'.
What a glorious game tonight! Cesc was handing out goals left and right. Braga looked really overwhelmed. I think we probably already have them psychologically ...
Hi Joe,Can`t wait for the kick-off tonight. We should beat Braga but strange things happen in the CL.
Jay DeMerit to Wolfsburg? He's not quite in the same league as Kjaer and Diego, but he's a good team player who could provide depth in the back. http://soccern...
Beautiful highlights. Messi for goal of the week. And I'd give Cisse's the assist of the week for a great flick off the long ball to put Govou's in on goal.
