My Passion. My Life. Liverpool FC.
For some people it’s just a club and some don’t even have the slightest idea about it. But for me it has always been much more than a club ...
To lose his mind if Spurs don't take a top 4 finish!

Although, I think the guy's dad jinxed his little bro by naming him Beckham. He likes cricket! Lol
Lol. Likewise to read your stuff as well bud. I want to spend this season learning about Indian football and the I-League as well, but that's a whole different story altogether. Lets get back to the gazillion spurs rumours that just tend to never cease. If we even bought 1/10th of the players we were rumoured to be going after, we could field three teams! People just love throwing our name around, since we're in such a good financial state and the media know this is our rebuilding year.
So AVB has been officially confirmed and looks like Sigurdsson is about to be confirmed as well. I know I haven't been completely supporting AVB's appointment, but now that he's been officially signed, I can't wait to see what he can do and how he can develop us. The positives are always there. His Portugese and Brazillian connections will help us secure some very interesting players. We might not be able to afford the wages of Hulk, but there are some other players out there that are very interesting indeed!
Bale's signed a contract extention, and that's a huge sign of intent. He's convinced the club's going forward, and while Bale's not the player the media potrays him to be, he is still a very valuable player as well as a PR asset. Wrapping up Sigurdsson and Vertonghen should be the next step, which will surely put some jitters in opposition fans. This is a period of mind games indeed
Hudds has been linked with Fulham, but I really doubt that'll happen. There's no replacement to what Hudd can do. Those powerful long shots. I know this will sound cheesy, but they are every fifa player's dream! Lol. I really hope we get to see some of those again next year in the Euros. I'm sure AVB will take the tournament seriously, unlike Redknapp!
Euro2012? I was very excited by it during the league stage. It was tremendously close, with upsets everywhere. And when the knockout phase started, the magic just seemed to disappear. I stopped caring, and didn't watch the semis and the finals truth be told. Spain's probably the most snooze worthy team in the tournament, followed closely by England. Really, England needs to work as a team instead of as a collaboration of players from various clubs. Reminds me of how Cricket's classified in India, with players preferentially picked by the amount of power the states hold in the BCCI's office. Like how now South has more players being picked, and how it was Bengal during Dalmiya's period.
England just became all about manchester united, Liverpool and City. The rest of the clubs were mere passengers, and fans kept squabbling over petty things instead of backing the team. No hope for England unless they get their act right and stick behind Roy for 2014.
Vizag? I'll be moving there for a few months. Possibly half a year or maybe a year. I'm a work at home programmer, so working anywhere shouldn't be a problem
Sorry about the rant
Hah. Wish I could be as calm as you bud. I'm quite tense about the direction of the club. I'm yet to be convinced by AVB, and would surely prefer Blanc over him, but if he is hired I wouldn't hesitate in getting behind him. Its a tough phase, with Modric likely to leave (infact, I hope he does. We need to cash in on him at this time). AVB has links with Moutinho, who'd be an excellent replacement (none the cheaper though).
There are some excellent positives though. The players will move to the new state of the art training facilities next month. I've seen some pics, and the facilities look amazing. If we only had qualified for the champions league, we'd surely have been able to attract some high profile players. Keep an eye on Sivella though. Relegated, and lost Kanoute. We might still end up bidding for Rossi, who's injured for a couple of months more.
Good to see you keep busy. I've been a little busy myself, and moving to Visakhapatnam soon. Back to the slow internet speeds
