Jesus! That article sure took me by surprise.... If he had stayed they would've killed him. Surely so. Good thing he escaped the hell-hole that Chile became during the dictatorship. Us native Chileans though, as hard-pressed as we were by torture and 24/7 surveillance, only had one home, a home invaded by the bleakness of silence. Even whispers were punishable by death. (Sure some left, but the vast majority stayed to face the incoming tidal waves.)
Today, we roam avoiding the harshness of confronting the past, and even forty years later.... The silence.... Laughs.

Aye. South American football.... Nothing like it (Spanish can get close, but they're civil with their disputes). Uruguay hasn't had as much as other countries. Chile and Allende are close to my heart, with lots of involvement by the cia/usa to set up Pinochet's puppet show. Sad

Unsure why you're offended by my being knowledgable of 25 (and many more) clubs; instead, I'd be embarassed if I were in your shoes and knew nothing about a single club!
