I haven't followed them that well lately ... but is there noone else that can function on those positions ? they should really sort that out next transfer windo...
Vermaelen only likes playing in the centre ... imo he's the best central defender Arsenal has by far, so build the defense around him, don't put him on the flan...
Mignolet is doing well, history has shown us that switching goalkeepers isn't good for confidence
