Sympathy for Mr Vengeance was great, as expected
However idk what it was exactly, perhaps the mis en scene, but IMO I enjoyed Oldboy more as a whole
The Master hits a spot, doesn't it. Especially the shaping of American psyche post world war. I ve always been a PTA fan and he consistently out does his previous efforts in newer ways.
Usually films associated with mind bending are let downs for me because they are just plot twists. So when the twist has a little more at stake I get tickled.
I ll post some films I enjoyed from 2011 soon. Still trying to catch up on 2012. Although the Bela Tarr film has reshaped a lot of how I am viewing things
