Anyways, it is possible to defer your admission by a year or so if you are having a financial situation. Universities in the UK are quite sympathetic about stuff like this, so most likely they can allow it.
Remember to speak to your future Adviser of Studies, or the head of whatever department you are going to be studying in. You need to be very clear about this, and its best if you can get documentation from the university about this as well, because it helps a lot when you are applying for a Student Visa. Try to make sure you have complete knowledge of the universitys decision and all documents.
Also, if you are going to uni this year, then its best to apply for the UK visa asap so that in case of rejection the first time, there is more than adequate for you to contact the university for any extra documentation and it gives you enough time to reapply for the visa.
Also, the university might have a head for visas, and stuff like that. I can't remember what the title for that position is called, but they can give you give you a lot of good info as well.
