As I'm from the Aichi Prefecture in Japan, where everyone supports Nagoya Grampus bar me, I had been thinking if I should start rooting for my home team seeing their last 2 seasons and current no. 1 in J League.... Haha
I can see that Urawa are having some major problems now, dunno why is that though.... You got any ideas? Rooting for you home town team is a good idea, but I was wondering, why haven't you rooted for them from the beginning in the first place?
Sometimes I'd like to compare Urawa with a premier league like Arsenal, Right now we have a lot of young talents coming through the ranks, given time and that we hold on to these players, hopefully one day we can get back up there.
I don't know why I rooted for Urawa instead of Nagoya in the first place. Both clubs mean a lot to me, though, I've seen both teams playing in many occasions, but it's something about the crowd in Saitama Stadium 2002 that really got my football senses into overdrive. If you have the chance, you should come see for yourself!
My opinion of okada, too, has been turned upside down. Can't wait till the Paraguay game.
We'll see how they play against Holland, then we'll tell how he'll prepare against denmark. But I have to say I'm really over the moon with that win!
