I remember a show where they showed glasgow, rome, etc....

Sindelar actually weren't killed by the nazis (officially)
He was sleeping at home and died because of a carbon monoxide poisoning.
It's really not sure if the gestapo was involved,
Because of that he's a bigger legend than he would be anyway.

Football in austria isn't as important for the people here as in britain,
So the fan-culture is a little one,
Maybe you got a clue when you were in both stadiums.

The english wikipedia don't describe the rivalry as well as the german one.......
There are always some black-sheeps in every fan community which "hates" each other.

A few years ago on a derby I was sitting in a bus full with rapid fans and they didn't try harm me or smth,
I had to listen to some very unkind vituperations but never got any troubles,
We don't take the whole thing so serious as in other countries,
We are proud on our colours and love our teams,
Football in austria is made out of tradition.

During the nazi-time our club were suffering a lot by the gouvernment,
Our club was set by jews and the name austria had to get erased....
Rapid has found there way and get rid of all their non arian players and even won the german championship and during a livley discussion (they know we're better

) the last argument is : "but we won the german championship"

Austria was relaunched as "FC Ostmark", ostmark means place in the east, and was ruled directly by the government....

Thanks. I've met him twice. I used to be a Marseille fan 1st, but when Drogba got transferred I met him at the Roma v Chelsea game in Pittsburgh and he signed my Marseille shirt, thanked me for coming and told me I had to go for Chelsea now. It was awesome. The picture for my profile was in Baltimore. My wife and I met a lot of players. Essien was really cool too
