Hahaha. Encouraging your team Hodgson style: point out how good your striker is as a defender. :P

Haha maybe I'll casually mention a Montpellier shirt before Christmas next year.... You know, casually.... But no, my brother is indeed very generous. He gives great gifts, don't worry. Haha.
Well the universe doesn't really hate me I suppose. My country totally put Scotland to shame today. I dare say, the English should play more like the Americans! Hahahaha wow. Who knows, maybe in my lifetime, the United States will go further than the quarterfinal of the World Cup. And Montpellier won their league. But I really care about Liverpool. Really, really care. I obviously love you. S. Soccer and Montpellier, but it's not the same. I'm not that patriotic and I don't have much of a connection to Montpellier other than my studies there. BAH!
On that list the hated teams above Italy didn't include Liverpool. Haha. Manchester United was higher on the list than Italy though, which pleased me.
Brad Jones's penalty save was special, you're right. Also, seeing him fall to his knees after we won the FA Cup semi-final was really nice. He's a class act. I hope he does well, whether he stays with us this summer or not.
I also agree with all the moments you highlighted in that post! Do you want me to post in it to get it going a little more? Haha.
Anyway, what've you done with your Saturday night? I guess it's Sunday morning/afternoon where you are. It's already 2 AM here. I'm all partied out from the last couple of nights, so I watched a movie with my best friend tonight. We rented "The Iron Lady. " I'm happy that I can finally put the "American actors can't do British accents" claim to bed. Meryl Streep does a fantastic British accent.come to think of it, so does Robert Downey Jr. Scouse is f*****g hard though. I've tried to imitate it and have received endless ridicule from my cousins. Haha. They've got s**t American accents though so whatever. We're even.
You know, Australian accents are hard too. Really hard. But everyone here loves them. Well, women love them. There was a really terrible reality TV show where this Australian bachelor was presented with a group of maybe 10 American women and each episode one was "eliminated" until he got down to one which he fell in love with or something.... I dunno. It was a terrible show, but he was very popular, because he was Australian. That's all. Hahahaha.
Anyway that was random. I'm tired. Movies about Margaret Thatcher tire me out. I tried to get my best friend to watch "The Woman in Black" but she was like "heeelll no" cause it's a horror movie. I love horror movies, idk why everyone hates them. But I will admit, I can't watch one by myself. I don't like them THAT much haha. One of my other friends and I are going to go see "Cabin in the Woods" at the cinema but we're going when it's still light outside hahahahahaha he and I are such babies.
And hmm, yes, I suppose I am indeed the abnormal one.... Hahahaha. My ex used to tell me that all the time. I hung out with him and his friends a lot, and let's just say they were an interesting bunch, so he would always tell me that I was the weird one. I guess he was probably right. Hahaha
I'm more often than not neutral towards all teams. I remember telling my Arsenal friends that it sucks they had a poor start to the season and that I hope they improved their form in the last season. Its no fun when top teams drop down. I prefer skill and talent playing itself out and an all out fight for the top 4 slots between teams at the top of their game. Its the same for Liverpool. I take no joy in watching a team struggle. That said, I really do think you're on the up this time around.
Redknapp? *Sigh* I doubt you'll meet a more anti-redknapp spurs supporter. SS is a little anti as well, but if I took spurs over, my first order of business would be firing redknapp. Curious game. Hmm.
Hahaha well I appreciate the thought! And I appreciate your caution too. I'm not a criminal. But how could you possibly verify that? The internet.... It's a weird place. And sometimes I worry there are a lot of weirdos on this site which is why I would probably never post any pictures of myself. Being female is a one-way ticket to a lot of unwanted attention from creepy men on sites like this. Haha. You're not creepy though. So it's okay.
And my brother drives a 2012 Mercedes C350 I think. Something like that. All I know is it's a really nice f*****g car. He has a very, very high-paying job though so he can afford cars like that. I, on the other hand.... Hahahah I drove a 1993 Volvo 850, it broke down, and the cost of repairing it was more than the cost of the car itself, so I donated it to a vocational school for mechanics. Hahaha. Are you into cars? I know pretty much nothing about them.
Who knows? If the universe doesn't hate us (as I suspect it does), maybe Andy Carroll will have a fantastic tournament and England will make it as far as the semi-final or something. We'll see. I don't want to jinx it though. *knocks on wood*
Yeah I remember that match between Italy and Australia! Typical. I also really dislike Daniele de Rossi. He was diving all over the place in the 2010 World Cup so when they went out in the group stages I felt pleasantly vindicated. What a little bitch. It seems a lot of people have beef with the Italians. I was reading somewhere that they're the.... 3rd.... Or 4th most hated team in the world? Hahaha.
Hmm, there were actually a lot of good moments this season. I teared up when Kenny teared up after we knocked City out of the Carling Cup at Anfield. That was a beautiful moment. I also freaked out when Andy Carroll scored the winner in the FA Cup semi-final. I was so happy for him, so happy. I aaaalso freaked out when Martin Kelly scored his first 'pool goal at Stamford Bridge. What else.... Oh, Stevie's hattrick against the Toffees. Kuyt's goal against United at Anfield in the FA Cup. Suarez's third goal v. Norwich. There were a lot of good moments.
What about yours?
Thank you for the kind words. It was for the best for my dog, as he was slowly dying, and quite painfully at that. I couldn't "put him down", as I just didn't want to give up hope. I can definitely understand what it must have been like to lose Tommy, especially considering he's grown up with you for almost a decade and a half. These friends are special, and they're a part of the family. I was appalled by the attitude of some of your friends. Maybe they were trying to get you to keep your mind on the exams, but they certainly went about it the wrong way. A "pet" is never a pet. He or She's a friend. Probably more loyal than most of their human counterparts.
About Liverpool, I always felt for you guys. I really hope you guys can push for the champions league next season along with us, and also give a proper go in europe. Always great for the league to have 7 teams fighting for the top 4 spots. Hope you have the right manager to build the team around for the long term now
And WOW, those are fantastic birthday presents! If one of my brothers got me a signed 'pool shirt, I dunno. I'd offer to do his laundry for weeks. I'd promise never to give him a hard time ever again. I'd wash his car. Well, one of them probably wouldn't let me touch his car. He even gets antsy about it when the cars next to him are parked too close. He probably loves his car more than he loves his siblings hahaha
Haha well I suppose I could schmooze my way into the good graces of my famille bordelaise.... Meh. I'll try to go back to Montpellier some day soon. I may be doing a course in Lille the year after next. Even though it's in northern France, I can take a train to the south. It'll happen.
I know right? Chelsea supporters have been irking me recently. Grrrrrrr.
Hahahahahahahahaha damn I wouldn't compare England to Rovers! I'd say they've got a better shot at success in the Euros than Tranmere in the FA Cup. Bahahaha wow England's just as good as League 1 Tranmere compared to other European sides. David, what a scathing metaphor! Haha
I just want Andy Carroll to do well. If he scores for England in the Euros, I'll be so happy for him. He deserves to shine, our big ol' Geordie!
Meh I'm ambivalent about France. I suppose I like them alright. I've only got a couple of relatives still there and there are a lot of divas in the French national side. I did want them to win the 2006 World Cup though, but that's mostly because I despise the Azzuri. The Italian national side is probably the national side I dislike most. Bleh. They're dirty, boring babies. And I absolutely HATE Marco Materazzi. That's because I used to really love Zidane as a kid (My dad's side has Francophone Middle Eastern roots, so I liked him 'cause of that, and he's obviously one of the greatest footballers ever) and Materazzi was a prick and provoked him and.... Haha. It was a big deal for me at the time.
I suppose I'll be following either France or Germany. I really liked Mesut Ozil in the last WC and the Germans should have won, in my opinion. In terms of nationality, I suppose I come closest to French or English, even though I'm technically neither. I'm just going off my parents. So maybe I'll just take the odd one out and go for Germany! But I'll be hoping England does well, if only for Stevie, Andy, Glen, and Stewie
