Hi mate you raise an interesting question. Yes they are similar players but Fabregas's vision was second to none while Cazorla tends to be more direct as well as making excellent passes. I don't think we'll see the same issue for 2 reasons. Firstly we are no longer playing our traditional 4-5-1 in offense, only when we are defending. When we have the ball we're shifting to a 3-2-3-2 with the fullback becoming the winger and the winger sliding inwards to become a secondary striker or false 9, which suits Podolski's role perfectly since he obviously doesn't like to play out wide and in our first 2 matches he kept drifting in and it killed our width. Against Liverpool however, Gibbs provided the width and crossing and it worked great. I'm confident Sagna can do this on the other side and even Jenkinson was attempting it against Liverpool.

The second reason is because when teams stood off Fabregas to mark the others tightly they afforded him a lot of space which Cesc didn't use that well since he's reluctant to shoot from range or dribble into the opponent's defence. Cazorla however is a much stronger dribbler of the ball and not afraid to let fly from range so if teams do stand off him, he will just unleash or drive the ball forward like he did combining with Podolski for our 2nd goal.

The thing Arsenal has these days is real steel and players not afraid to bruise their shins in order to win the ball. With Arteta's discipline level and Bould's influence we are less vulnerable to counter attack already and this is only 3 weeks in. I believe this new breed of Arsenal is much more determined and while they may play a little less pretty than they used to, it's definitely more of a team effort and more direct in the attempt to score goals
