I love Torres, and still do despite recent events. I will continue to follow his career and be an avid Torres fan. However the following comment kinda burns me up: "Fernando Torres says he could wait no longer for Liverpool to reclaim their place among the English elite". -- What? Man, he was a part of that fall; no owenership what-so-ever. He was in part responsible for the teams lackluster performance as well as any attempts to revive themselves and move up the table and get back into the Champions League; which is what he stated was the motivating factor in choosing Chelsea

I was hoping Torres would follow the likes of Gerrard and such, making a career of playing for Liverpool. The thing that annoys me the most is that a year ago when Torres was talking about leaving, it was because the English game wasn't to his liking and he was wanting a move to Italy or Spain. But to leave now for another English club just hurts. Also, I'm getting a little annoyed with Chelsea at this point. Two of my favorite Liverpool players have now been lured away to Chelsea, Benayoun and Torres. Abromovich's deep pockets are pissing me off
