Chelsea’s marketing deparment has scored a great deal as they have signed a broadcast deal with the video content giant YouTube.
The deal involves Chelsea having a video content channel on YouTube, where you will be able to watch daily news and archive video footage from the club.
An amazing idea by Chelsea that bridges the gap of the club with fans with the power of videos.
David Beckham just seems to be gaining even more exposure, and now it’s confirm that he will indeed retain his place in the starting 11 against Real Betis tommorrow and in fact Fabio Capello has made him captain!.
Asked if he brought Beckham back into his starting line-up out of conviction or out of obligation, Capello said: “No one has ever forced me to do anything. I am a free man that makes up his own mind about things.”
Now Capello is even advising England coach Steve Mcclaren to do the same and reinstate Becks in the England team, playing for Madrid is one thing but the door for England looks firmly shut.
“I hope for his (Beckham’s) sake that he does return as it will make him happy,” Capello told a news conference on Friday.
“He’s always behaved like a great professional. Of course it all depends on the England coach, but he could do good things for England.”
Capello also went on to say that Becks return to the team had a ‘postive’ effect on team spirit.
It seems Chelsea are not the only ones facing the possibility of losing their coach,Barcelona are also having similar problems and though there was a ’show’ of love in the training ground recently nothing can be taken for granted.
‘Me and the rest of the team want him to stay on,’ Xavi was quoted as telling radio station RKB by daily Sport.
‘He has got the dressing room under control and has the complete support of the team. He’s the sort of coach you can rely on and the door to his office is always open.
‘We’ve won lots of trophies with him and we can keep on winning them. He is the ideal coach and a great person too.’

I found a great little site today that lets you do ‘pretend’ betting on the footy. The premise is simple, pick some games, predict the results, and see what you would have won (or lost) had you really gone to the bookie…
