Things just keep getting better for David Beckham as it was confirmed today that he will be representing the European All-Star XI team which will play United in a jubilee match being staged to mark the 50th anniversary of the founding of the European Common Market, the forerunner of the European Union, and United’s 50 years of European competition.
Becks of course has made many returns to Old Trafford with his days with the national team but this game (March 13th) will be his first ever against Man Utd after leaving for Real Madrid in 2003.
Beckham said: ‘I’m happy to know I’m going to play on March 13th. It will be something special to go back to Old Trafford and I’m really looking forward to it.’

Benfica lay claim to the title of having the most supporters just a few months back after beating Man Utd to it but now the folks from the Guinness Book of Records have to rewrite their books as Arsenal can now claim to have more fans/membership than any other footy club in the world beating out the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Benfica, Real Madrid, Barcelona, AC Milan etc.
The English Premier League club claims to having 175,000 members – 14,000 more than Benfica.
Congrats to the Arsenal.

Rumors are spreading that AC Milan’s president Silvio Berlusconi is prepared to go as high as £70 MILLION to land Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho in the summer. However, should Barca refuse to budge, Berlusconi will throw a large portion of his budget at Arsenals’ Thierry Henry.
Inter Milan has also signalled their interest in luring the Frenchman to Italy and maybe will use Patrick Vieira as an additional bonus for Henry to join Inter.
AC Milan’s technical staff however believes that Hnery should be the main target and NOT Roanldinho, They believe the Frenchman would better complement Kaka and Ronaldo’s qualities in Milan’s playing system.
