Adding attribution to your application
The openfooty web badges provide a simple way for you to connect your application back to openfooty.
We ask you do this so that we can help spread the word about openfooty, help your users understand how your application works, and comply with the attribution requirements of the openfooty terms of use. If your website or application is also displaying fixture and result data in addition to the openfooty web badges, you are required to also add GSM attribution (see below).
The Web Badges and HTML Attribution Snippet may be used only if your application uses or was created using the openfooty service.
Do:
Always use only the HTML we provide to you in the below HTML Attribution Snippets.
Comply with our Terms of Use.
Comply with our Placement Guidelines.
Do Not:
Change, alter, or modify in any way the HTML or embedded CSS of the HTML Attribution Snippet - including colors, language, appearance, or animations.
Use the HTML Attribution Snippet to suggest openfooty / footytube / Global Sports Media is responsible for your web site's content, design, language, or topic. We provide data for you to use as raw material; it is not an endorsement of your site.
Please Note:
If your application also uses features of The Guardian Open Platform, you must also comply with the Guardian Open Platform terms of use, and attribution guidelines.

How and when to add GSM web badges to your application
Global Sports Media (GSM) attribution should be included in addition to openfooty attribution on pages that contain fixture or result data.

Placement Guidelines
Attributions should be placed close to the boundary of the application interface display. It is best to anchor the badge to the lower left corner of the interface wherever possible. Please make sure there is a 5-pixel space between the lower edge of the interface and the attribution, being careful to leave at least 15 pixels of space around the unanchored sides of the badge.

When it is not possible to anchor the attribution to the interface, make sure that 15 pixels of clear space surrounds the badge graphic.
It is required that you only add one badge graphic to your interface. Please do not combine badges together or use any other size than those included here. Do not create your own graphic or modify those provided.
