Tottenham v Everton: match preview

Tottenham are euphoric after Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final triumph against Ajax but tired, with injuries and absentees piling up. Mauricio Pochettino will send out a patched-up side, against an Everton team that is finishing strongly, to ask for one final Premier League push. Another top-four spot has been virtually secured; it would take an outlandish eight-goal swing in favour of Arsenal with Spurs losing and their rivals winning to deny Pochettino’s side – and it is not like football is that ridiculous.
