Tottenham might have escaped with what Harry Redknapp described as a 'great defeat' in Switzerland in midweek but there has been a high price to pay. Spurs have a major injury crisis ahead of their trip to Stoke, with Redknapp probably unable to fill the substitutes' bench and missing three of his four frontline strikers. Stoke's concerns that Kenwyne Jones suffered a serious injury at Wolves last weekend were allayed and the club-record signing is set to make his home debut this afternoon as Tony Pulis's side seek to pick up their first points of the season.
