Kieran Gibbs will be out for three weeks because of the injury he suffered to his right ankle in Arsenal's 3-1 defeat of Partizan Belgrade on Wednesday. Arsène Wenger said after the left-back had a scan: "I am very disappointed [about it]. I hope it will not put in his mind that he is an injured player. It was just an accident and you cannot do anything about it. Time will help him get over that and it is not major damage in his ankle." While Wenger said there "is a big uncertainty" as to whether Cesc Fábregas will be fit for Monday's game with Manchester United, Gaël Clichy should return for the trip to Old Trafford following illness while Johan Djourou is also likely to be fit after a thigh injury. "We should have [Gaël] back," Wenger said. "He was very weak still but we hope he will progress well. We could have Johan Djourou available. He should be fine." Jamie Jackson
