Bradford City

Matt Duke 3

Could do nothing about the goals he conceded and, though he was sent off, his trip on Routledge was not unamusing.

Stephen Darby 7

Found Routledge a little too fast and skilful but persevered and never panicked. Too busy defending to get forward.

Carl McHugh 4

Michu's movement was too much for him and he never looked comfortable. Might regret not marking more tightly.

Rory McArdle 5

Though it was his partner who suffered more at the hands of Michu, he found it hard to pick up Swansea's runners.

Curtis Good 3

Had the gross misfortune to face the superb Rangel-Dyer partnership. Didn't get tight enough to tackle often enough.

Garry Thompson 4

Anonymous as an attacking threat and should probably have been deployed deeper to help Darby handle Routledge's running.

Gary Jones 5

Spent the majority of the afternoon on a futile search for Britton. Worked hard but was overmatched and overrun.

Nathan Doyle 4

Might have played slightly deeper to help his defenders cope with the Swansea onslaught. Could not get forward at all.

Will Atkinson 4

Unlucky to face Dyer and Rangel in such potent form. He ought to have done more to help Good, however futile the task.

James Hanson 5

Endured a deeply frustrating afternoon, huffing and puffing after hopeful passes that he couldn't hope to reach.

Nahki Wells 4

Unable to find the remotest route into the game. Might have chosen to harry Swansea's defenders when sitting off failed.

Substitutes

Davies (for Good, h-t)

McLaughlan (for Wells, 58)

Hines (for Thompson, 74)

Subs not used: Reid, Ravenhill, Connell, Turgott.

Swansea City

Gerhard Tremmel 6

Could have spent the afternoon pondering the eternal questions of life, humanity and the universe. Entirely untroubled.

Angel Rangel 7

With no defensive calls on his time, able to attack without fear of reprisal. A reliable outlet and threat – linked well with Dyer.

Ki Sung-Yeung 5

A surprising and maybe surprise selection, he was caught out once and forced into a caution-earning foul.

Ashley Williams 7

Composed and controlled, as he has been all season – but anything less would have been significant cause for concern.

Ben Davies 6

Solid and willing, without the attacking edge of Rangel on the opposite flank. Helped set the tone with an early header at goal.

Leon Britton

Sets Swansea's tempo with astute, sharp passing, intuitive anticipation and sensible movement. Excellent.

Jonathan De Guzman 6

Refused to cede penalty-taking duty to Dyer and celebrated with ostentatious kiss-blowing. Scored twice, but quiet otherwise.

Wayne Routledge 8

One of the country's most improved players, revelling in the faith of a great. As good off the ball as on it.

Nathan Dyer 9

A constant threat from the very first minute. Bradford could not cope with his direct, intelligent running and passing.

Pablo Hernandez 7

Dextrous and unpredictable, played well but outshone by Dyer and Routledge, with whom he interchanged so ably.

Michu 7

A genuine footballing intellectual, his appreciation of angles and space allowed him to create the first goal and score the second.

Substitutes

Monk (for Ki, 63)

Lamah (for Dyer, 78)

Tiendalli (for Davies, 84)

Subs not used: Vorm, Shechter, Agustien, Moore.
