Everton's Marouane Fellaini an injury doubt for Manchester United trip

• Leading goalscorer suffered hip problem against Aston Villa
• Belgian scored only goal in win over United at start of season

Marouane Fellaini is an injury doubt for Everton's trip to Manchester United on Sunday after suffering a hip problem against Aston Villa.

The influential midfielder and Everton's leading goalscorer this season complained of discomfort in his hip following a two-goal performance in the Premier League draw with Paul Lambert's team on Saturday.

He reported for international duty for Belgium's friendly against Slovakia on Wednesday but has been unable to train and is doubtful for the game in Bruges.

Fellaini scored the only goal as Everton beat United at the start of the season and also struck in the 4-4 draw that damaged Sir Alex Ferguson's title hopes at Old Trafford last term.
