I know, most of them have something negative to say about him..

yeah most arsenal fans think something is wrong with HIM. which might have been the case when he was just a youngster..but vela has proved to be such a great player and his passing is top notch.

maybe arsenal fans should be thinking why wenger wont give him regular playing time.

the thing is they want him to make an impact in important games but he never seems to be in those games , another thing is that its hard to make an impact when your sub'ed in when your TEAM is already leading comfortley...which in most case's is the case

It seems he wouldn't mind staying, and during an interview he got very happy at the possibility of staying at Real. I shouldn't of mentioned that he told his agent he wanted to stay. Sorry :/

I notice a lot of Arsenal fans have moved on as wel. They seem to laud Ox and Theo full of praise but criticize Vela for not doing well when given the chance.
They fail to realize that he was never given a chance with the 1st team. That does not mean Carling cup (19 and under) squad, previous Fa cup squads and so on. He never plays alongside RVP for example.

Every time he played with Fabregas, or Nasri (however limited) it seemed he could score.

Theo for me is a flop ,he gets so many chances yet he just dissaponts me . C.Vela needs to leave Arsenal as a Arsenal fan i hate to say it but ...to me it obiovus he isnt gonna get the playing time he needs there . We wouldnt wanna see the same thing happen over and over again Vela going good in his preseaon's yet not given a chance ...but yet he looked for a loan off to Spain i think he knows that he wouldnt be given a chance to play

he deserves to get more time..he's a good player.

We need an extra tournament to develop young talent...sort of a carling cup but for mexico. This would allow for bigger squads that could actually compete. I think that tuca let this happen as an experiment to give his a youngsters a chance but ultimately wasn't carried out properly. There was no experience on the field.

But on that note, they did play their hearts out. :D

He's doing well, if he keeps it up and controls his anger he will get a call up for the NT. Hopefully

It would be nice to him back like he was in 2007. What Nery lacks in anger management, he makes up for in heart. He's a fighter.

idg why the spurs don't at least try to play with him..he's a good freaking player and all the drama happened like 3 years ago and gio seems to have cleaned up his act. i really don't believe Lennon is better than Gio no way.

after six months he will be free right? I bet his father had something to do with it, because it is not right for spurs to make more money off him when they don't even play him. I think it was good not to accept the MLS offer, I'd rather see him play at Mexico (only for a year). If he is free after the 6 months than I guess he can go to which ever club he desires, but it still sucks that they did not let him go to Villareal.

^^agreed on that point about him being better than Lennon. Some stats:

In almost 300 appearances, Lennon has only accumulated 25 goals in his profesional career.

in 130 SPORADIC appeareances (not full mathces most of the time), Gio has accumulated 21 goals in his "career" on the bench.

These aren't including International matches.

Redknapp also insist Gio keep his act together and blames injuries but Lennon spends much time on the injury table without losing his spot in the first team.
