For me, the standout player in the 2015 World Cup has been Serbia's right winger Andrija Živković. He plays for Partizan and turns 19 next month.
Here's a FIFA portrait of him during this tournament:
The two young Spurs centre backs, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Milos Veljkovic both looked quite solid opposide each other in the U-20 quarterfinal today between Serbia and USA, with the match going 120 minutes without a goal. In the shoot-out however they both missed. Veljkovic having his penalty saved straight after Carter-Vickers shot his miles over the bar. A mate of mine reckoned he must have been schooled by Adebayor in taking penalties. In the end Serbia won it and they're the only European team to make it to the semis.

Brazil beat a wasteful Portugal on penalties. An excellent Mali side managed to knock out Germany, also on penalties, while Senegal beat Uzbekistan 1-0.
Brazil vs Serbia in the final tomorrow.
Senegal vs Mali in the play-off for third.
Went to a very enjoyable USA - Myanmar game today and got to say I was impressed by the latter. They had deserved a share of the points but USA ran out 2-1 winners.
We've had two Group A and one Group F matches in our town. On Thursday we also get Austria - Uzbekistan in the round of 16 here.
France v Uruguay in the finals.

Uruguay played a VERY tough Iraq and we barely escaped. The heat worked in our favour but we might be spent come Saturday!

Good luck to both Les Bleus and La Celeste.
Go France. Allez les bleus.
Probably be France v Uruguay in the finals. Bonne chance!
And France is on to the finals.
