Is it just me or the Primera Division is getting more and more boring. Its like a joke...Its like the football version of the "Harlem Globetrotters show"
Éric Abidal:

7 League titles
2 Copa del Rey
2 Super Cup
2 Club World Cup
2 Champions League

..and he beat cancer twice, legend.

That last one's better than all the others combined.

Hats off to Abidal.

who do people think should win player of the year and coach of the year???
i say ronaldo and loew deserve it
+1
CR7 and King Carlo
+1
CR for sure. As for manager - Simeone is the only choice imo. The guy defeated the Barca/Madrid duopoly purely on the basis of the size of his balls.

Simeone and ronaldo

Ronaldo and Simeone for sure.
Messi and Simeone for sure
El cashico embodies everything that is wrong with football at the moment and i dont see it changing for the foreseeable future as long as the most corrupt institution in the world fifa is in charge.

Worst part in all of this is as football fans you just cannot help yourself and not watch these two fantastic teams play every season.
+3
what is it that's wrong with football you're referring to?
Pewpew makes a good point. Why are you making an argument out of it? Anyone with a brain would agree with what's he's saying and not argue about it, but of course some people lack brains. People who can't even form a sentence need to learn to sit down and stfu when grown folks are talking.
^ People who can't be civil in their responses, and who look to exploit one's shortcomings in something as minor as grammatical errors without any knowledge of where the individual may be from, need to reassess their place in society and allow the more mature individuals to partake in intellectual discussions.

For someone questioning the maturity of another, you seem rather immature yourself.

Pewpew, are you referring to the unequal distribution of television revenue?
+3
@ Pewpew
Well put "El cashico" hehehehe
Or "El cashico between two sellouts"
Only thing to follow in Europe is Champions League, the rest is just overdone mismatch. Before you had 1 or 2 star players together with other football professionals to make a team. Now you have few big clubs overpaying, putting their club in debt to buy all key players in the market so nothing remains for mid-tire or lower-level clubs to even try to compete. And this is forcing mid-tire clubs to throw in the towel and allow outside investors to buy them out.

Just look at the unnecessary additions in both Real Madrid and Barcelona. I have nothing against the talent in both the clubs, but if your goal is to put all in one, whats the point of the league, why dont you just keep playing both these teams so the TV ratings can keep going up, stupid followers will sit and watch the game to bring in more money.

The only hope I have is with the German system, they are atleast making sure their younger squad gets a chance and most of their teams are more of a balance except Bayern. I know it has its flaws but trust me its a better option as the youth system gets more perfects, you will have a more competitive squad to make better teams. Here its just lets add suarez, back in the day you will never have three top players from South America in the same European club. Thats what made it more interesting to watch, now its like all taking the first flight to Madrid, or Barcelona.
@Jogador What's wrong with what I wrote? Please tell me the gramatical errors that you saw there if any, and please act more maturely.
Back to the point, does the unfair distribution of tv rights embodies everything wrong with football? How so? And if you were referring to the massive annual revenues of Madrid and Barca instead, would you rather want all that money to go to certain individuals' pockets instead of being used to improve the club further?
a troll is a troll lol

Everybody just relax. I'm not a trying to be a "troll" (I hate to use those buzz words like "troll" or whatever you kids say these days.) I was probably a bit rude, but that's what I was feeling at the time. I'm not even sorry. The guy was making a valid point and of course we have somebody come along and question him. It's as if the gay said the moon is made of rock and here comes this guy saying, well I think it's made of cheese. That's what it looks like to me, completely brainless.
+1
I was asking him to elaborate because I want to hear his opinion, that's all. Still, no need to be rude and insult others. That's immature.
+3
@Jugador There was absolutely nothing wrong with SRACon17's question and for you to flip out and call him brainless only shows your own lack of intelligence. Furthermore, not even admitting that you did anything wrong is just further proof that you're immature and not the brightest bulb in the shed. In fact, for you to call someone else immature and brainless is not only ironic, but shows a complete lack of self awareness. You should take your own advice and leave intelligent adults to discuss things without your childish tantrums derailing the conversation.

I have to say shock of the season so far is Bilbao's form being as bad as it is so far.

+4
hopefully it'll like last season at the Bernabeu
I'm expecting Barca to concede
Some of the reasons we love this game:

Saeed, from Saudi Arabia and his love for Athletic Bilbao

Great video!
Definitely a cool video! It shows how international soccer really is and how fanship for a club is not restricted to geography because the game is global and a football club is an identity all to its own separate from national or religious affiliations.
It's also cool how a guy from the middle east supports Bilbao, thats rare because most fanship of foreign clubs their is distributed to major clubs like barca, real, chelsea, man utd, arsenal, munich. So to see that a guy that far away can be attracted to a club that doesn't get half as much spotlight as those clubs is pretty astounding!

Que bonito!
Shows why football fans are so unique in their love for the sport.
So this happened today:
