LA LIGA - BETA TESTING

Tell me again who won the golden boot in the 2014 world cup?

Dont mix up opinion with facts buddy
James
Alot of people are saying Neuer should win the ballon d'or. These people such as Maradona are all Messi fans. Knowing CR7 had a better year they would rather see the German keeper win it. Shame.
No one is even close to Messi and Ronaldo today. To suggest otherwise, like Ribery did last season is an insult to the game.
Some people argue that Germany won the world cup therefore it must go to a German.
Remember 2010. Spain were world champs yet not one of them made the 3 man shortlist. Sneijder was the third man. Won the UCL and reached the world cup final.
Messi had a terrible 2010 world cup. He even failed to score in the tournament. Yet he still won it that year.
I think its an individual award therefore it should be based more on individual form and acheivements rather than club trophies

Your lost, Ronaldo had a garbage world cup, did nothing, then shows up in a billion dollar team to show off skills. While Neuer played his heart out to win the world cup, and is still playing amazing with Bayern. Tired of people like you who are either Ronaldo fans, or Messi fans, but don't care about the game. Neither Messi nor Rolando won the world cup and even after Argentina loosing the final, Messi for no reason got the golden boot when James from Colombia deserved it. Both Messi and Ronaldo are great star players but they don't deserve each and ever award just because of their fan base.

The Ballon D'or is an individual price and therefor CR7 clearly deserves to win. Don't Think I'm a Ronaldo fanboy, I always admitted when Messi was better. Neuer had a great season but come on, better than Ronaldo's season? No way. BTW watch Neuer's game against Real Madrid, he clearly made some big mistakes by comming out and should have stopped the third goal. I believe people actually know that Ronaldo is the greatest player on the Earth right now but they just won't admit it because they can't stand him. Ronaldo just is the best player in the world, it's as clear as day.

BTW Ronaldo wasn't a 100 percent fit during the World Cup.
Portugal are 2 man team
Ronaldo and Moutinho
And what about Robben?... why should James win the golden boot? Robben was by far the most impressive and important player of the cup.. James made himself a name .. but Robben showed why he is the best even without his Bayern team wich he is the heart of he took the dutch
from nothing to the semi finals

Torres emotional unveiling. It's incredible.

"He brought us back, now it's our turn to bring him back"

I really hope this story gets a happy ending.

El Nino returns to Atlético Madrid. Time for the beast to get his career back on track.

Was bored on Christmas eve so turned on the tv and there was a replay of valencia vs eibhar. It's some of the worst football i seen. Valencias pass success rate was 59% around 35mins into the first half. I thought valencia was supposed to be one of the better sides?? But yea the defending and passing was frustrating to watch.

Yeah lets just judge a team based on a single performance.

@raj,May be now you realize why valancia consider as a top team,lol..

Barcelona 5: 0 Cordoba FC

Is it just me or the Primera Division is getting more and more boring. Its like a joke...Its like the football version of the "Harlem Globetrotters show"
yeah. Bundesliga is boring too...
Did you even look at the table? It's a 9 point spread between 1st and 7th. Comparing that to the two horse race of the EPL? What a joke!
Just because the team 2nd in the table wins against a team fighting against relegation you deem it boring? It's not boring, its called consistancy. I know to you EPL fans it is a strange concept but consistancy is why La Liga teams do so well in Europe.

Seems a bit harsh to compare a legendary team like Barca to a team that has just relegated and use it to describe a whole league.

People truly only see what they want to see. Lets just ignore that the league title last season didn't go to the two legged race teams La Liga is famous for.

Éric Abidal:

7 League titles
2 Copa del Rey
2 Super Cup
2 Club World Cup
2 Champions League

..and he beat cancer twice, legend.

That last one's better than all the others combined.

Hats off to Abidal.
