Gracias @Sam.
Even though it's genuine condolences, still not a fan of seeing "Football Funnys" anywhere near that.
No need to change it, just mentioning it.
I absolutely no idea why does Herrera have to go to Utd? Athletic are in the champions league while Utd are not. Basically he is abandoning a sailing ship not a sinking ship.

Uber complicated.

Not sure where his allegiance is, but I can understand (some of it).

Born in Bilbao, but was raised in the Real Zaragoza club (where his dad was general manager).
Transferred to Athletic Bilbao, where Zaragoza gets 1.25m of any future transfers.
Zaragoza was relegated last year, to financial hell.
A transfer to United allows Zaragoza to get some needed funds.
No idea how accurate my speculation is, but that's the facts.
I hope Eibar do wonders for next season, with a budget even tinier than Rayo. Any good result against mid-table or even top 6 clubs are an absolute achievement for them.

Btw congratz to Cordoba, Eibar and Deportivo fortheir deserved promotion. But the play-off match was funny as hell...how does las palmas manage to concede in the dying mins is beyond me. They are seconds from promotion my god!

Their fans did a premature ejaculatory pitch invasion, which allowed Cordoba time to organize for a goal.
Promotion playoffs finals have started.
Thursday's match:
Cordoba 0 : 0 Las Palmas

The return leg is this Sunday.
If the first leg is any indication, the return leg should be free-flowing with both clubs going for the win:

Raúl Bravo with the redemption.
Heaven and hell.
