Nice little compilation on fair play in football, particularly in Italy.:

Buffon is always part of the fair play,Always trying to calm everyone down.
The only time he got angry was when he had that brawl with Thiago Motta.I wonder what Motta said that got him so angry.
AC Milan's gold kits are horrendous lol
it doesn't matter lol

IINM milan fans prefer anything but black as their 3rd kit

*milan fan pls verify this XD
I think it looks hideous.
I don't know what people are going on about. The shirt is glamour, simply sensational, one of the best I've ever seen. Bellissima
+2
Bruttissima.

But some people seem to like it so whatever makes you happy I suppose.
Heh they're alright I don't mind it. But it beats the hell of those cursed black kits; there is a reason why we've avoided using them in recent times
Following @Jujex below, how about "Future Stars of Serie A"? Any up and comers we should be aware of in the next season or two? I only follow Udinese religiously, so I can only put in a few names here:

Jovetić (Fiorentina)
Ljajić (Fiorentina)
Luis Muriel (Udinese)
Vydra (Udinese)
Isla (Juve)
Vidal (Juve)
Vučinić's underwear (Juve)

I've obviously missed many. Who else to watch for?
I didnt follow much serie A this season, unfortunately, but ill have a go:

paul pogba (juve)
icardi (sampdoria)
ricky alvarez (inter)
dzemaili (napoli)

and i dont know about the general opinion on this, but i think that after the last season, german denis of atalanta should be playing for a better team already
If we wanna talk about future stars I think we should focus on young players under 23,24 cause over it they are pretty established players.OK here is a list.

Juve -- Marrone,Pogba,Leali
Napoli -- Insigne
Milan -- De Sciglio,El Shaarawy,Cristante,Niang
Fiorentina -- Ljajic,Savic
Udinese -- Muriel,Vydra,Pereyra,Merkel
Lazio -- Onazi
Roma -- Lamela,Marquinho,Destro,Florenzi
Inter -- Juan,Kovacic
Parma -- Belfodil
Cagliari -- Ibarbo
Chievo -- Paloschi
Bologna -- Sorensen,Taider All Co-owned with Juve
Sampdoria -- Poli,Obiang,Icardi,Zaza
Atalanta -- Bonaventura,Gabbiadini(Co-owned Juve)
Torino -- Cerci,Ogbonna
Genoa -- Immobile(Co-owned Juve)
Palermo -- Ilicic,Dybala
Siena -- Emeghara
Pescara -- Perin,Quintero
Sassuolo -- Berardi,Boakye(Co-owned Juve)

I agree with your list, Jujex. But I would add Zielinski from Udinese. I think he had an even better season than Merkel.
Team of the year anyone? Here is mine.Formation 4231.

-------------------------------Buffon----------------------------------
De Sciglio-----Barzagli---------Campagnaro------Pasqual
-----------------------Pirlo--------------Vidal------------------------

I wanted to put Jovetic in it as well but Di Natale is just killing it.

Di Natale 2 more goals today.... what a player
+1
I'm glad someone else posted it. I started getting repetitive saying it every week.
:P
It's like he's the only one even trying to keep up with Cavani.
+1
Aye. Yet he looks like he's doing it by not being concerned by Cavani. The way he plays and scores it's as if it didn't matter whether he was the leading goalscorer or if he hadn't scored all season. Same class and composure.
+1
Great year for my Viola. I predict 3rd spot...not so sure Milan will win their next game...hoping for a draw at best which should do it. Judging by what I am hearing from Florence...they are going for the gold...so expect some serious transfer activity over the summer in Florence. Lovin it!! Good times in Tuscano!!

well i hope jovetic still comes to us
Serie A this week;

- Palermo relegated along with Siena & Pescara
- Final UCL spot battle between Milan & Fiorentina
- EL spot battle between Udinese,Lazio,Roma
- Antonio Di Natale = Old is Gold

napoli!!!!

showing some consistent performances, good to see

Too many quality clubs in Serie A (just like La Liga). Unfortunate 4th place isn't for CL Qualifying.

UEFA really should revise their policy and make an exception for leagues that are rich in quality and history and allow clubs in 4th and 5th that haven't played in CL before or haven't been there recently.

Roma hasn't been there in a while, and wouldn't mind seeing what Fiorentina could do. Was nice watching Napoli overpower other clubs with their youth and will!
+2
Too be honest, right now Italy can't compete anyway. Udinese made mockery of that 4th spot and EL teams did same.

I mean some teams were eliminated from EL with barely winning a match.
+1
How about the 'conspiracy theories' that Milan are favoured to hit the CL spot, otherwise Fiorentina would be kicked out at the group stages? I don't buy into the theory, mind me, but ...says it all
if u remember Fiorentina is a beast back then in 2009/10 UCL..so unlike Udinese i don't think they would take that 4th spot/CL qualifying round lightly
Udinese handles their club and management differently. They're not built for playing multiple competitions. Consider them an (interesting) exception to the rule.
"Di Natale put two past Sampdoria, reaching the 20-goal mark in Serie A for the fourth consecutive season. Only one other player in the history of the Italian game has ever scored 20 Serie A goals for four straight years: Gabriel Batistuta."

The man is class. The man is loyal. The man has dignity. Anyone else that can name 10 footballers in this day and age (apart from Di Natale of coarse) who express the same qualities as this man please give it a go.... and don't hurt yourself in the process ;)
+2
Stevie G,Jamie Carragher :D
Totti
Micah Richards, Vincent Kompany

But I know what you mean Udechile.
ok let me try. Top 10, in no particular order

1. Kompany
2. Zanetti
3. Del Piero
4-5. Gerrard-Carragher (agree)
6. Lampard
7. Buffon
8. De Sciglio (shows all the signs)
9. Ogbonna (same as above)
10. Totti with reservations

Opinions?

Well, talk about Italian loyalty ^.^
Also if you notice, most of the players you mentioned are not really part of "modern football", they represent more of a bygone era of childhood dreams and "love for the badge" type of player, almost a non-existent bred in today's footballers. You would think playing beside legends and seeing their passion and devotion to a club would make younger players want to follow suit and keep the idyllic torch of the beautiful game burning bright against the pale skin of greed.... but hell... weakness is part of humanity. In the end of the day, the paycheck pays for bread, not unmatched loyalty :( (Not that most of these narcissistic prima donnas's need money to eat, but my point is money is forever important, while a career is usually short and quick)
Aaaaah damn it all :)

Ryan Giggs

*on the pitch, off the pitch its another case ;)

If we have to name 10 out of Serie A only, and youngsters on top of that...tough task because they are simply not that famous yet. Possible: the majority of teams must have at least 1 decent player out of the academy, or one they bought and the class, dignity etc. remained untarnished i.e. Pirlo.
Youngsters will face the Last Judgement at the end of their careers, give them a chance.

I just want to add that, say, 20 years ago Serie A had all the money and people questioned loyalty, dignity etc, but still there were players like Scirea, Baresi who embodied the qualities you underline. Now we have most of the ones I mentioned and more. In the future there will be others
