I did NOT expect that result from Napoli.

although that first goal was offside AND a handball :)
Not an offside and it would be harsh to give that as a handball.
Lol, Napoli was an unexpected result. Damn -_-

Club Brugge!! Yeasssssh!

It's been ages since my favourite Belgian club has had a good season like this. First in Belgium with great football, through in Europe and still in the run for a treble because we're rocking the domestic Cup too!

Victor Vázquez is God :P
It's my favorite Belgian city, Jeroen. Don't know about the club though.. I believe Gudjohnsen has now left them for Bolton.
Spurs in very good company in the unseeded group, with AS Roma and defending title holders Sevilla.
Brugge is a beautiful little city, yeah. But you should definitely check out the bigger cities too; Antwerp in particular. Ghent is similar to Bruges, but bigger. And the city I live in, Leuven, is as cosy as Brugge, but without the water. Even Brussels has a magnificent old city centre, surrounded by a large metropolitan modern city.
Yes, I used to work for a large Belgian company called Massive, based in Kontich near Antwerpen. Always enjoyed my time in the country.
+1
Oh yeah, the company that sells all sorts of lighting. How'd you end up in Belgium? :)
Yep. The world's largest producer of lighting, indoor and outdoor (more than twice as big as number two). I worked out of Denmark, on the Norwegian and Swedish markets but had lots of interaction with Belgium and Holland (1992 - 1996).
I keep returning to Brügge though (for a few Straffe Hendrik etc), was there this summer too...
+1
Hah, that's awesome :) Do you go to the old city centre or do you just go anywhere in Brugge? And since you worked in Denmark too, I suppose you have been to Kopenhagen too? It's another beautiful city that's perfect to live in IMO. If I'd have to live abroad, I'd love to live over there.
Yep, all over the place. Check out Stockholm too, the so-called Venice of the North, located on 14 islands. Very beautiful city, I like it more than København.
I've only ever driven through Sweden on my way to Norway (another stunningly beautiful country), but you're right; Stockholm is amazing too. I'm a big fan of most European cities. They're either beautifully arranged, neat and full of history and culture, or they're cosy and atmospheric. When I'm in one of the big Asian or American cities I kind of feel like I'm in a dystopian future, haha. They seem cold, grey and chaotic in comparison.

I'm writing all this back home inside the Arctic Circle in Norway. Have spent the year traveling Europe. After new year it's back to New Zealand to again watch European football from a distance, usually in the middle of the night or early morning...
Legia Warsaw already qualified in the K.O stage

and Celtic looks likely to qualified too

hopefully they'll meet each other in the next round for some unfinished business
+1
unfinished business? For me 6:1 for Legia was very clear. It was UEFA who screw Legia up
yes that why i said 'unfinished business'

if i'm Legia fan i would be dying to meet Celtic and trashed em again

and btw it was Celtic whose whining & complaining to daddy dearest UEFA lol
