Newcastle finally coming to form...should be a good year
Newcastle could win this league comfortably like in 2009/10 they have a strong squad
or not by the looks of it :P
Any predictions on how this season is going to finish?

My Predictions: Promotion: 1st - QPR
2nd - Newcastle
3rd- Sheffield Wednesday (winning the playoff final
against Villa)

Relegation: Preston, Barnsley and Leeds
This looks to be another thrilling Championship season.
1 Burnley 93 pts
2 Middlesbrough 89
3 Brighton 89
4 Hull 83
5 Derby 78
6 Sheffield W 74
followed by Ipswich, Cardiff, Brentford, Birmingham, Preston, QPR, Leeds and Wolves...

Burnley and Middlesbrough directly promoted. Brighton missed out by a 2 goals difference, having scored more than Boro but also conceded many more.

On to the play-offs: Brighton - Sheffield W, Hull - Derby.
Final: Hull-Wednesday
Final winners: Hull
2 games left and three teams fighting for the top 2 spots. Burnley, Boro and Brighton all on 87 points. How tight is that!!

And it looks like it's going to be those six teams. Cardiff in 7th are 5 pts behind Sheffield Wed with six games to go. The current top 6 also have considerably better goal differences.
With two games left Cardiff are 4 pts behind Sheffield Wednesday, and in the penultimate game they meet each other.
As always, the Championship turns out a hell of a battle both for top 2 and top 6. Interesting to see how Sheffield Wednesday mean business, currently in the top 6 with a pack of Ipswich, Birmingham, Cardiff, Forest and Wolves in the chase just below them.
Sheffield Wednesday were one of the founding members of the Premier League in the 1992/93 season but haven't been in it since they were relegated after the 1999/2000 season.
