GANBARE!! SAMURAI BLUE!!
Very disappointed with the game today. We could not win against a ten man Greece. I'm so pissed at the manager because he did not because he did not even use all the subs. Also, no urgency from our players.
Too disappointing... I expected Saito to come on for the last 15 minutes with those Greeks tired up.

I'm praying for a miracle on the final game
We need to defeat Columbia and hope Greece defeat Ivory Coast by a goal. We need similar performance to the 3-0 victory against Denmark in the last WC.
What' with Kagawa? Why isn't he playing tonight? :( :(
We just have to win the remaining two games... I'm still believing in the Samurai Blue.

And Hasebe please get fully fit! After he left our midfield was in shambles
Agreed. Endo is getting too old to make an impact now. 2 games and two win and hope Greece wins against Columbia/Ivory Coast, either one. Ganbare Nippon!!
Both goals were headed goals which is something Japan struggle to defend.

Just outscore your opponents because they will exploit your weakness.
I hate the fact how we made Aurier look so amazing because of our sh*t unorganized defending on our left flank.. we have to fix that or else Salpingidis and/or Samaras will taunt us..

Kawashima
H. Sakai Morishige Yoshida Nagatomo
Hasebe Yamaguchi
Okazaki Honda Kagawa
Okubo

for me!! (Uchida has been brilliant, but we will need that height when we defend)
We started bright and played good passing football. However, we ultimately lost to Ivory coast. I'm still sad we can't play the whole 90 minutes at the same tempo. Our genes don't give us stamina
:( On a positive note, Uchida looked brilliant.
Out of the Confed, disappointing but I know in WC 2014 we will surprise the world! :)

Now time to try out Kakitani, Shibasaki, and Miyaichi on our team!
And Honda please transfer out of Russia for your career's sake!! :S

disappointing loss at the end of a magnificent game! love watching japan play
Felt the possibility of the 3-4-3 formation. I don't get why Makino doesn't get a call up anymore, better than Inoha and from the left Makino - Yoshida - Konno looks like a solid 3 back for what Zaccheroni is aiming for.

Either ways.. kudos to Bulgaria well played although their goals were both from set pieces, first goal's freekick was in a way crazy.

Japan... when can you win without Honda seriously?!
Been some days but good win for Japan vs Latvia.
Now lets qualify the fastest in the world (besides Brazil) again!!!

Then we can finally try out Miyaichi, Usami, and other promising players ^^
+1
Miyaichi is injured :(
Should come back on time. The games against Australia and Iraq during May and before the Confed. Cup should be the time to test out players
Did anyone watch the friendly against latvia? How did we play overall?

Omg! Okazaki is getting really good. Honda and Kagawa are looking great in midfield. Just watched the highlights.
We played good considering it is our first game of 2013.
Endo showed his class when he came on, and Maeda proved again he is first choice as a lone striker atm.
Inui was really impressive, and both Hosogai and Hasebe need to improve. Hosogai with his accuracy in passing, and to get back in form for Hasebe

Looking forward on March for vs Canada then vs Jordan! :D
