This song is very good but yeah, it's a bit strange because the previous songs from at least the last two WCs are upbeat tempo songs. (2002's sounds like a DDR song haha). I guess South Africa wants to show and maybe, promote the "African" music to the world

I really do like that song a lot, and I think it is a great one for the World Cup, amazing writing and he sings it with a lot of passion, but this would be my choice if I could choose only one song.

The re-vamped lyrics for the "wavin flag" song make it so much more applicable to the World Cup!

Great beat, easy to remember.... Great for chanting and the lyrics are simple and repetitive!

The original song is much better, than the re-write for the CUP. But when you compare the re-write to songs from the past world cups its defiantly my favorite, for sure!

Watch K'naan rise to international stardom. I do admit I wish more of his stuff was like "wavin' flag" though!
