MariusV (Manchester United) 4 years ago
I agree on the best ones so far, I disagree with SOME "worst ones"
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Whole french team on the worst list And where's sneijder on the best list he's been sensational
Ant (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Yeah, Evra needs to be on the Worst XI list. Absolutely poisonous for the French squad. He was hugely responsible for the absolute humiliation of the French team. Even previous players are begging that he is never allowed to wear a French jersey again

ARod9 (Sevilla) 4 years ago
French all horrible, sneijder great and where is muller
Rob12 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
This isn't my opinion this is what I saw, I would have put in Sneijder and muller
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
I really don't think Ronaldo or Rooney played that bad any of the time, they went out early because of their teams. And Portugal some how thought Ronaldo was a god and could dribble through everyone by himself
Kushdog21 (AC Milan) 4 years ago
MSN's starstruck or something by the big names of Robinho and Messi.... I'd replace them with Sneijder and Mueller for sure
Joeymac (Manchester United) 4 years ago
I would have also put in sneijder and muller, but I don't think messi needs to be in the best eleven, maybe klose or sergio ramos instead. Other than that, those look pretty good
Mumbai (Chelsea) 4 years ago
Put all the English player on the worst list.... We knew France gonna' be doomed 'cause of coach.... But england was most overly rated.... Worst team
Francesco2286 (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Can we just say worst eleven, ⅓ english team, ⅓french team, ⅓italian team.... Hahaha
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Lool that would work
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Actually just add all the french team lol

Best 11

Gk: Enyema/Stekelenburg
Def: Sergio Ramos, Maicon, Lahm, Coentrao
Mid: Sneijder, Honda, Oezil
Att: Mueller, Villa, Forlan

Worst 11 (based mainly on players who were far too overrated before the WC)

Gk: Green
Def: Cannavaro, Terry, Kaita (for the red card situation), Vidic/Kuzmanovic (both for a stupid handball in the penalty area)
Mid: Ribery, Marchisio, Gourcuff
Att: Rooney, Anelka, Gilardino
Anfieldhero (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Best:

Worst 11: (over-rated)
Green
Ottamendi, Terry, Cannavaro, Evra

SergioRamos (Liverpool) 4 years ago
You can't say de rossi is over rated
Bloodbrothers (Barcelona) 4 years ago

Hill (Arsenal) 4 years ago
How do you not have Diego Forlan in that lineup?! Not even in your subs list
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Don't need him. I got two natural finishers. And I believe kuyt is a much versatile player to him
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
The addition of Robben and Forlan in particular would make it better
Hill (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Yeah mate, I think Forlan is way more versatile. Kuyt sticks to the wings. Forlan roams all over the place. Front man, winger, dropping into the midfield
Bloodbrothers (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Why are you guys debating this, comparing the golden boot with kuyt?
Hill (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Exactly
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Ok I got pwned there
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Lol yes, got huge responses on that one
Jimmybreeze (Manchester United) 4 years ago
I'm surprised you even had space left for Kuyt. This is what I thought you'd propose.

Jimmybreeze (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Do you two come in a pair?
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Dude, who the hell are you? And why is you talking to us?
Jimmybreeze (Manchester United) 4 years ago
My profile will tell you all you need to know. And why does that matter? Are you not allowed to talk to strangers? In answer to your second question, there is usually more than one speaker in a conversation, and it's pretty obvious why you drew my attention, is cos of your pseudonym inn-it
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
We do post a lot in the same places, but I don't stalk him. Why should you care?

Maybe lucio for pique?
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Pique played pretty well though, maybe one should be on the bench and one should start
Bloodbrothers (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Pique did an oustanding job and Lucio could not help to stop the oranje, its not all his fault but if feel he could do a better job especially being the captain
Kushdog21 (AC Milan) 4 years ago
Stecklenberg
Ramos Puyol Lucio Van Bronkhorst
Schweinsteiger

Any ideas when the official team of the tournament comes out?
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Ok its not just be, everyone is forgetting robben, surely he is doing better then muellar and some others chosen here
Hill (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Nah. Robben has a left foot and only a left foot haha. Mueller has 5 goals + 3 assists and won the golden boot. Robben played way too selfishly and didn't come through when the Dutch needed him
Rob12 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Agree, Robben should do pre season on learning how to use his right foot, he could have scored two goals against spain if he could use his right foot. Damn even I can use my right and left playing football and I'm crap
Markoc (Manchester United) 4 years ago
If only the english manager used these types of tactics we might have had a chance

Hill (Arsenal) 4 years ago
That is pretty awesome haha
Rob12 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Lmfao, that's awesome
ManUK (Manchester United) 4 years ago
LOL catch the ball in your hair, great haha
HangTime (Chelsea) 4 years ago
I like john terry, I don't think he did poorly expect for that one time he misjudge a kick and the ball got to klose and he scored. Other than that game, england pretty much got a clean sheet in all their games (not counting the goal from usa that should had been stopped).

Best:
Casillas
Ramos, puyol, friedich, brockhorst
Sniejder, muller, xavi
Honda, forlan, villa
Hill (Arsenal) 4 years ago
I think this is the best "Best XI" I've seen yet. I completely forgot about Honda. That guy is awesome. Its a well balanced squad
Jimmybreeze (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Stekelenburg

Pereira
Puyol
Salcido / Paulo Da Silva
Lahm

Schweinsteiger

Mueller / Özil
Xavi
Iniesta

Forlan
Villa
Blueskiesahead (Chelsea) 4 years ago
Worst 11

---------lloris--------
Sagna--gallas--abidal--evra
-----toulalon--diaby---
Govou----gourcuff----ribery
--------anelka----------

Best 11

--------------enyeama----------
Sergio ramos--lucio--lugano--lahm
---------bradley---sweinsteiger-----
Mueller------sneijder-------ayew
----------forlan----------------

Honourable mention goes to: casillas, stekelenberg, eduardo, salcido, maicon, van der wiel, van bronkhorst (only for his goal of the tournament, otherwise he was only average), da silva, puyol, annan, ozil, iniesta, robben, xavi, luis suarez, donovan, and honda.

Dishonorable mention goes to: the entire english, italian, and nigerian squads (with the exception of enyeama).

I would also like to send a shout of praise to new zealand for surprising everyone after showing more heart and grit than anyone else on the world stage
Soccergal293 (Barcelona) 4 years ago
What about David Villa?
Blueskiesahead (Chelsea) 4 years ago
Forgot him in the honorable mentions. He makes it in there
Soccergal293 (Barcelona) 4 years ago
Oh ok, you can edit you know lol. Bt its okay if you don't want to
