Shame that last effort by RVP didn't go in.... Would've done us some good because playing at WEst Ham is never really easy. Good game from both sides though even though Arsenal was the better team

What a dive

Good job west ham!  Why was there a red card? He got pushed onto the ground.... And got a card?

Penalty looked soft but Arsenal fans should remember the ref has evened things up as he missed a stone wall penalty for us minutes earlier, so I think that's why it was given. Officials had a bad game, I was sat right next to the touchline where fabregas has taken the ball 1 ft of the pitch and no throw in was given which resulted in Arsenal winning a corner. There would have been a riot if Arsenal scored from that. The Hammers showed good fight to come back but the formations still wrong for me, if Arsenal were a bit more clinical they could have taken advantage of our lack of width and exploited the channels. It was no surpise to me that the opening goal came from a wide position because there's no one to help the full back and double up on the winger.

Anyway, this will be the turning point of our season. West Ham are still not sitting pretty in the table but you have to take into account that we have a game in hand on most teams and we have already played Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Spurs this season. Onwards and upwards.

The result's a bit depressing

Why would he give red card 4 such soft thing.... The guy just lost blance and so the hand ball, but not as big as red card. The penalty, cole need 2 be fined 4 that.... It was clear dive ! The EPL refrees need to go 4 some refreeing workshops to spain and italy FA's

What a great game I stopped watching at half time thinking it was over.come back to see that West Ham proved their worth in the EPL. Well done with a man down too
