Now then can we please see lennon go injury free this season and watch him flourish? And Defoe a bit underrated eh?
Duces14 (Arsenal) 2 years ago
That pass from siggs to Lennon to set up Defoe was absoulatly spot on.
Defoe is in good form and glad to see AVB get his first win best of luck to him

Very young athletic team AVB and Levy have built, should have a strong second half of year.... Defoe in form is scary

Lennon to Defoe! Good goal

Happy with our performance and with the win. But also disappointed that we conceded another late goal. If Defoe wasn't on fire, and Bale wasn't lucky, we'd again drew this game. Hopefully, this win can kick start our season

Tottenham coming together, defoe looking great. I'm over adebayor, he's overrated
FayJay (Tottenham Hotspur) 2 years ago
He sure is! But there will come a time when Defoe just won't cut it as our main striker. He is a prolific goalscorer, but only when he is in top form.

He doesn't have any aerial strength though, nor does he distribute as well as Adebayor. They both have their strengths as strikers and I'm glad AVB knows when to use Defoe rather than blindly starting Adebayor every game like Redknapp did

Respect, to reading and all of the teams (rivals or not) for keeping the 96 supporters in your hearts.... We will never walk alone.... We all bleed red

Good thing avb doesn't hold sharp objects during matches, he completely spazzes out whenever you guys score. Great passion. You can aslo tell he is a really bright guy. Hope he has improved his man management skills from his time at chelsea.

Spurs played really well, don't think anyone will look forward to a trip to the lane again this season.
