And a not so nice goal by Bale
Isnotfish (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
Decent showing. Think we'll see Ade, Lloris, and more of Demps in the Lazio game?
Wiskid (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Yeah I could see starting those guys vs. Lazio
Elbalonball (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
Yes. Dempsey played great when he came in as a sub. I don't think avb will risk taking out the amazing Frieeeedel. Lloris will get his chance in another game
Wiskid (Arsenal) 4 years ago
That second Defoe goal WOW!
Loopster (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Bale did score with his left foot, nothing new here
KeviUnited (Manchester United) 4 years ago
AVB's celebrations are priceless. Glad to see Defoe getting some playing time and repaying the opportunities. Tott needs 1 more striker; Papiss Cisse stand-up
Robin69 (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Cisse and ba at newcastle is just pure frightening and makes for great watching for us fans. Mike ashley and alan pardew needs to hold that team together no matter the cost 'cause the geordies will make the epl proud!
Arsenal4great (Arsenal) 4 years ago
Lol!AVB celebrating as if he had never won a football game in his life. I can understand.
Spurs played brilliantly. They were all over Reading. Good game and good win
SoccerIsFootbal (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Good thing avb doesn't hold sharp objects during matches, he completely spazzes out whenever you guys score. Great passion. You can aslo tell he is a really bright guy. Hope he has improved his man management skills from his time at chelsea.

Spurs played really well, don't think anyone will look forward to a trip to the lane again this season.

Cracks me up when he scores, he looks like a man possessed!

Respect, to reading and all of the teams (rivals or not) for keeping the 96 supporters in your hearts.... We will never walk alone.... We all bleed red

That first goal was lovely play

Jermaine Defoe has always been beast. Keep it up lad!
Slasic (Real Madrid) 4 years ago
Tottenham coming together, defoe looking great. I'm over adebayor, he's overrated
FayJay (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
He sure is! But there will come a time when Defoe just won't cut it as our main striker. He is a prolific goalscorer, but only when he is in top form.

He doesn't have any aerial strength though, nor does he distribute as well as Adebayor. They both have their strengths as strikers and I'm glad AVB knows when to use Defoe rather than blindly starting Adebayor every game like Redknapp did
Superfanof (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Spurs and avb can't win this match without the support from their fans. Congrats, avb, u've came to a club that suits you
Qrendi (Manchester United) 4 years ago
Respect FOR liverpool FANS IS great TO SEE! Firt win for spurs good luck avb
Kain (Liverpool) 4 years ago
Everybody loves defoe's goals
MikeCOYS (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
Happy with our performance and with the win. But also disappointed that we conceded another late goal. If Defoe wasn't on fire, and Bale wasn't lucky, we'd again drew this game. Hopefully, this win can kick start our season
