Illskillz718 (Barcelona) 5 years ago
Yea, you're right, my bad. I just started typing in players who didn't make the cut for my starting XI but deserve a mention.
SO, after some thinking, my subs would have to be:
D. James, M. Richards, M. Upson, A. Lennon, J. Milner, T. Walcott, [C.] Cole
Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Good subs, but I don't know about Upson, though that's just my opinion...

ManUK (Manchester United) 5 years ago
I have.... He's on my Bench
Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Lol, just you, nobody else though...
Illskillz718 (Barcelona) 5 years ago
Wait, I got him too. I like Joe Cole. It's true about the injuries though, doesn't deny the fact that he's really good

Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
OMG?! ManUK's right, no Shrek! Err.... I mean Rooney! How could you Sergio
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 5 years ago
I don't know. I wanna give carlton a go. And lol rooney will be on in the second half. You know he would kill the tired opponents
Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
I like Cole as well, but I think he should be used the sub instead of Wayne
ManUK (Manchester United) 5 years ago
Just Because I'd start Wazza That doesn't mean I hate [C.] Cole he good and will come off the bench, He's not as good as Rooney you have to admit
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 5 years ago
I admit he aint
SirhCRocks (Chelsea) 5 years ago
Well taking into account that its a season away, and assuming a 4-4-2:

Gk- Ben Foster
Rb- Glen Johnson
Cb- John Terry
Cb- Rio Ferdinand
Lb- Ashley Cole
Rw- Joe Cole
Cm- Frank Lampard
Cm- Steven Gerrard
Lw- Aaron Lennon
St- Wayne Rooney
St- Jermain Defoe

Bench: Paul Robinson, Phil Jagielka (I wish Jamie Carragher still played for the national team), Gareth Barry, Theo Walcott, Emile Hesky
Ekky137 (Real Madrid) 5 years ago
Mine:

-----------------Foster--------------------

---Johnson--Terry--Ferdinand--A. Cole

---SWP----Gerrerd----Lampard----J. Cole

--------Rooney---------Owen------------
Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Even with Defoe's sparkling form, u'd choose Owen over him...
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 5 years ago
And Foster? Come On!
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 5 years ago
I don't see what is so good about foster
Yogan (Chelsea) 5 years ago
Yep. Definitely
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Foster=Carson=Robinon // All Mistakes, none of them will deal with the pressure. Green all the way
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 5 years ago
At the moment I would put defoe and all man citys englsh men
Incuteration (Everton) 5 years ago
All Man City's english man?
Should be:

--------------------------------Green----------------------------

----Richards----Lescott------Terry---------A. Cole----

----SWP--------Barry---------Gerrard-----J. Cole-------

-------------------Defoe---------Rooney-----------------
Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
That's not bad, but that will be too much like City! Too much fatigue for players...
On3two (Manchester United) 5 years ago
The critical point of the England team on so many occasions has been the midfield, and in particular, the partnership between Lampard and Gerrard. So many people say that they do not compliment each other and cannot play alongside one another. In my opinion, they can play well with each other but Gerrard will always be the more prominent of the two players.

I really think Crouch will never be the first choice to partner Rooney up front. He has height and a robot dance. That is all
Yamsy (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Do you think Almunia would be a great addition if he were to get that England visa?
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 5 years ago
Ya I do think he will
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 5 years ago
What is this possible? Isn't he spanish. But if that's true then sure gimmi a shout
Dede75 (PSG) 5 years ago
-----------------Grenn-----------------

Johnsonn----Terry-----Ferdinand-----Cole

Beckham----Gerrard-----Lampard---Downing

------------Defoe------Rooney-----------
Blueskiesahead (Chelsea) 5 years ago
-----------------Hart----------------

Johnson-----Terry---Ferdinand---Cole

Joe Cole--Gerrard--Hargreaves/Carrick--Lampard

------------Defoe---Rooney-------

Joe Hart will certainly improve this season while starting for Birmingham and he really is a fantastic keeper. Johnson and ashley cole are no brainers for me at full back and the centre is no more difficult to decide with terry and ferdinand. Joe cole will have regained his form hopefully by the time the world cup starts up next summer and will bring that extra flair needed to break down tougher opponents while gerrard partners up with hargreaves (so long as he's fit, if not the carrick to take his place) with the canadian playing a little further back to allow gerrard to push up more. Lampard will cut in to play the gap left by hargreaves while the latter hangs back to provide more defensive cover. Lampard will thus play more centrally at times while also keeping to the wing to provide crosses for defoe and rooney to latch onto. Subs will include rob green, jolean lescott, gareth barry, david beckham, ashley young, michael owen, and carlton cole
Kimaway17 (Liverpool) 5 years ago
I disagree with Joe Cole. I think that it should be Walcott Gerrard Lampard Barry. So good. Joe Cole hasnt got a game in a long time. So I think that he will lose his sparkle.
Incuteration (Everton) 5 years ago
Sorry, no Hargreaves. He couldn't even hardly get a starting line-up in his team and you want him to be in England squad. He has long passed his prime
ManUK (Manchester United) 5 years ago
Nah he's in his prime just injured but will be back soon he finally returned
SergioRamos (Liverpool) 5 years ago
If Hargreaves, Joe Cole and Walcott are back in the mix then I think we will have the most dept in quality in the world,
