Nice goal by huddlestone

Gomez was outstanding today. He saved the penalty and couple of goal scoring chances

Bent dived and tried to score his former club but Gomez denied him a goal

Overall Sunderland were the far better team. Spurs were very lucky to have won this game and Sunderland very unlucky not to have stuck a few in the back of the net.

Bent's penalty was obviously a dive, as he was going to ground before he was touched, justice was served in the end with Gomes making the save.

Tottenham shouldn't really be happy about their play at all to be honest. Huddlestone's goal was an absolute beauty but overall Sunderland dominated the game

We played terribly but pulled it out. We are missing some people and Kranjcar needs to start. Vindication for Stoke loss maybe....

Lucky or not sometimes the difference between UEFA Champions leage qualification and middle of the road is a bit of Luck. Was Defoe playing today?
Lennon (Tottenham Hotspur) 2 weeks ago
Yes

If the game were decided by which team dictated play for longer, Sunderland would have been winners today. However, I don't think it's fair to say that we were "lucky" to win this game.... After Kranjcar came on, we absolutely dominated play. Sunderland were unfortunate to not have scored in the game, but Spurs could have just as easily stuck another goal or two in the back of the net in the last 25 minutes of the game.

What the first half proved conclusively is that the 4-3-3 just is NOT a viable option for Spurs if the midfield consists of Huddlestone, Palacios, and Jenas. Between the three of them, there is not enough creativity, speed, and passing acumen to maintain possession or create the wide play that Spurs so desperately need. Harry tried moving Keane to the left of midfield at the beginning of the second half, but this never works and never will. Kranjcar replaces the creativity and width that Lennon and Modric usually provide, and with Lennon likely returning next game I'd be shocked if Kranjcar weren't starting on the left wing of a 4-man midfield along with Lennon, Palacios, and Huddlestone

Gr8 finish from huddelstone  And a darren bent dive altho should have had a penalty earlier

Well played Sunderland. Tough luck today. Steve Bruce's face said it all

Tough times for Robbie, he proves his worth today for Harry getting his side the lead and how does he repay him, taking him off on the hour mark again. Starting to look like his spell at Liverpool, surely he knows Harry's preferred strike duo lies in Crouch and Defoe. Interesting how he keeps getting dispatched on that left wing and you see Harry getting no stick for it, yet every pundit in England had a go at Rafa for doing it. Robbie is a goalscorer and deserves better

Your a f**kin idiot. Keanes played about 2 decent games since we got him back. Useless prick

Wow bent was unlucky this time without a beachball. He soud have scored the penalty. Huddelstone's goal was awesome

I think it will better if harry use robbie keane as a shadow striker. It is because robbie still have a willing to give his best to the clubs like spurs. He will running aroung the field to chase the ball and get the ball.... Finishing not too bad but still can be improve
Incuteration (Everton) 2 weeks ago
Bent have the ability to be the next Ronaldo and Drogba if he continues diving, nice dive there. I'm sure Capello would be proud of that and prefer him to the England squad
