Some interesting calls, feel bad for Sunderland, but nice goal by Suarez

Lovely goal from suarez. Horribly biased refereeing though. Mensah wouldve been sent off anyway (both incidents were worthy of a yellow each, although the second would have been a bit harsh) and the result didn't suffer much but 1-0 is infinitely better than 2-0 due to a wrongly awarded penalty and sunderland will be playing what if for the next few days and ruing their luck. TBH, liverpool deserved to win with that performance, but am a bit diappointed with the officiating and thus, the manner of their win. Even a 1-0 victory with that fantastic goal from suarez would have left everyone happy but this whole thing leaves a bad taste in your mouth.... Kind of flavored like man utd

The one commentator sounds like he is on helium. Carroll should cut his hair

Good win liverpool.
If you want to see something funny look at 15:16 on the Daily motion vid! Suarez's free kick smashes into a security guys face! He takes it well though

I knew there had to be a reason why he missed target!

Suarez's goal was just like the one he set up versus Man Utd.

But come on now, Sunderland's gotta' close down on him much quicker than that
Rafael (Manchester United) 3 years ago
Suarez + daiglish = liverpool in top 3  (sadly)

I love Liverpool. With everything in me, but we will not make third place. Even fourth is a stretch

We will be challenging for the title next season don't you worry

The ref was going with his gut. But when a guy who clearly has a better angle to see the play over-rules your call, that's not gut anymore, its doing what`s voted right (even if I agree with you in the fact that it was the wrong call)

Video replay needs to be implemented into football to make the games fair because there has been many mistakes in calls against players and costing games, but it happens in every sport, and you can't dwell on the refs failures if you lose a game. Pick up the pieces and move on
ChelseaFan88 (Chelsea) 3 years ago
The ref made errors, but we see them everyday now anyways lol  Suarez is still so amazing ! Really impressive finish
Kevinmw1 (Manchester United) 3 years ago
The errors have become somewhat consistent meaning that players and managers should be expecting bad calls to happen to both teams and just adapt to it instead of focusing all their energy on it
