In two words: frustratingly unlucky

Unlucky Spurs.... As we can see in the statistics Spurs had more shots on the target than Stoke City but the finish failed.... Then this late goal by Whelan made all clear for their second win in a row!

This chance for Crouch was the best one! Stoke's defending was very good

How could people rate tottenham as rubbish? They've played fantastically! Some people are ridiculous. They were just unlucky. Tottenham were really lucky to have gotten any points at all

I don't think credit can be given to Stoke at all. They offered nothing in the game, and were poor. They were the luckiest team I've ever watched. How they won is beyond me! Spurs completely dominated, these highlights don't even do justice to how much Spurs controlled the game. It was like a training match. All Stoke can do is long throw ins. Whelan should've been sent off for deliberately injuring Lennon. We'll hit back at Arsenal next week!
