I miss Xabi Alonso

One team's loss is another team's gain. That's the way it is, let's hope Aquilani can step into Xabi's shoes seamlessly. I'd love to see Liverpool challenging for the PL
Jkboi (Liverpool) 7 years ago
Yea maybe aquilani can produce even better than alonso...

Really nice 1st goal for spain, looked real classy
Samdefa (Liverpool) 7 years ago
Great lead up play from Spain leading up to the first goal. Beautiful to watch
Danman (Barcelona) 7 years ago
Argentina had chances but still managed to be disappointing. It seems like they are trying to copy Brazil by loading the formation with defensive players and playing 3 on the counter. There was so little creativity from this side
Danman (Barcelona) 7 years ago
Also, the crazy fouls from Argentina were completely out of place in a friendly
Nols128 (Arsenal) 7 years ago
Yeah, it shows how seriously they took this friendly
Ketcchyshubby (Inter Milan) 7 years ago
And how good at dribbling spaniards are.
Kokenjr (Chelsea) 7 years ago
Perfect penalty by Alonso. Hilarious how the Spanish players are asking for a card and the ref is kinda like "Come on.... You're getting a penalty.... Its only a friendly, chillax homie!"

It's all that hot latin blood on the pitch. They are a fiery and passionate people
Fusion (Arsenal) 7 years ago
Lovely combination from the valencia duo
Nols128 (Arsenal) 7 years ago
Argentina had a clear opportunity before the second goal but Lavezzi completely blew it on a one on one against the goalie. Other than that I didn't really see much else from Argentina on the attacking end, maybe one or two other good plays
