In all honesty I think that was 2 points dropped for Ireland. Slovakia were there for the taking. I don't remember many opportunities for Slovakia apart from the goal whereas Keane missed a penalty and had two other great chances he fluffed. Keane in general had a shocker where as Long was man of the match, maybe its time to drop Keane and go with Long and Doyle up front. Its blatanly obvious the likes of Keane and Given need to make club moves for first team football as they have looked below their best in the two recent qualifiers
Hm, As Slovak I can see it in other way In the 2nd half Irish lost energy and if the match took 10 min more, they would lost all points. The only chance Keane had in the 2nd half came as counter attack after 4 slovak corners....
