A Few Suggestions...

I'd like a way to find people on footy tube 2. 0 with the same interests as you. Maybe a directory of profiles that you can search through for people based on their age or where they're from or what club they support. Maybe I want to add a few friends who are Arsenal supporters, or Canadian, but I can't find them unless they post something.... Somewhere. I would also suggest a more advanced, organized forum, with the option to use BBC code (maybe we can now, I'm not that experienced with it). If you already have plans to improve the forums before releasing footy tube 2. 0, great!

You can now find users by using the search field on each page, and changing the dropdown to Users. Search by name, town, country, screen name, team or (exact) email address.

I'm interested in sorting the comments from newest to oldest (including replies that are currently located directly under the comment that is being replied to). This way, I don't have to read through the whole thread to find a few smatterings of replies that are only 1 day old, back in the 1 week old original comments. I'm not sure with the current layout how this could be done.... Just a thought! Love, love, LOVE the site though! Keep it up.

And maybe the ability to edit your posts, a post count maybe. So I don't have to double post if I forget something.... Like this

Using phpBB or Invision board integrated with this site would definitely be a great idea, I've actually merged websites like this with forums before if you would be interested in any help

Thanks for the suggestion, but we plan on keeping everything custom coded on the site. We're making a new release in the next few days though, with some of the features suggested here.

How about messages/alerts when someone replies to your comments?

We're working on all sorts of (email) notifications. That's a lot of work because we need to ensure all emails we send actually get delivered, but we'll get there soon.

I'd love to be able to support more than one club.... I. E. Chelsea FC and Seattle Sounders (in the MLS). Don't know if this is a possibility

I've noticed that when searching 'Users' in the drop-down search and typing in a country to search by, the results were only people who supported that particular national team, I was hoping to be able to search by country as in location

Oh, and do you choose who appear's in the featured fans section, or are profiles selected at random?

Until today, it showed the latest people to have joined whose profiles met certain criteria. It was replaced with a list of most active users, but I have a feeling it isn't working too well.

Yeah, sorry if this is a huge waste of time for you guys, because I feel like I could just not be finding it, but are there fixtures? Like of leagues? I dunno, maybe you could put fixtures somewhere in the vicinity of the 'results' tables of the league pages.
But I'm really liking what I'm seeing so far, keep up the good work

Hey Lee,

You know what would be awesome: too filter the leagues that you don't like. For example Poland, Hungaria and Turkey. Those are just not that interesting too me.

So, what do you say about that?

That too is planned. Particularly, customizing your footytube homepage with content from channels you select.

"Fan's Player of the Match" pick is a feature we plan to implement sometime in the future. We just have so many things on our plate at this time, but we will get to it eventually!
