Well its more a case of the admins and mods being pestered about it, now we don't need to worry, and keep answering queries about it, let them support who they like, we know who you are.... Lol
The same thing will happen with your freinds and rivals as well, I'm told, which doesent sound as bad, I have rivals who are now friends, but to change your team is sacrilege

Due to popular demand we have introduced the ability for users to edit their fan and rival teams.

So if you have suddenly decided Liverpool do not really warrant your fan status anymore or if you have stopped hating Spurs then simply navigate to the team page and on the top right of the page you will see the option to 'Un-Fan' or 'De-Rival' (yes we are aware they are not real words).

This does not effect your initial selection of your home league team and national team they are still changeable through the 'edit profile' link on your profile page
