Ibrahimovic: I'm Like A Fine Wine Because The Older I Am, The Better I Get

AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has compared himself to a fine wine, claiming that the older he gets, the better he becomes.

The 30-year-old striker took his tally for the season to 26 goals with a double in Sunday's 4-1 victory over Siena and feels that he is improving with age.

"I'm like a wine: the older I am, the better I get, " Ibrahimovic told Aftonbladet. "I just hope that I can continue like this. I feel very good here in Milan. I have done a fantastic job this season. "

With Pep Guardiola having announced on Friday that he will be stepping down as Barcelona coach at the end of the season, the Spaniard is now being linked with every top club in Europe, including Milan.

It has been speculated that a potential move to the Rossoneri for the Catalan trainer will not be good news for Ibrahimovic, given that the pair had a spectacular falling out during the Sweden international's season long stay at Camp Nou.

However, the former Inter attacker insists that he is not paying any attention to the rumor mill and that he cannot envisage himself leaving San Siro any time soon.

"I haven't thought about what the papers have written about Guardiola possibly joining Milan, " Ibrahimovic insisted.

"I don't listen to rumors about coaches and such and I haven't thought about leaving Milan. If you like being where you are, then you should stay. "

Ibrahimovic insisted that the only thing he is concentrating on at the moment is helping Milan, which currently trails Serie A leaders Juventus by three points and is trying to win its three remaining fixtures as it fights to retain the Scudetto.

"I think that I’ve broken all my personal records this season, so it would be nice to win something while you're breaking your records, " he reasoned.

"I don't want to think that we won't win anything. There are three games left, and we will try to do our best to win. We won't give up. "

Ibrahimovic and Milan will be hoping to keep up the pressure on the Bianconeri when they take on Atalanta at the Giuseppe Meazza on Wednesday
