If Atletico could start a game with the same fire that they seem to finish games with (against Chelsea and now against Real), they would win so many more games!
It shouldn't have gone so close for Real, except for the man being down. And that it was Ramos, made it more difficult as he is one of the more better defenders. Point is, that Real came away with a valuable three points
Real started the game with a lot of physical effort, running for the ball everytime and not giving any space for Atletico, so they controlled the ball at the beginning with little football but being aggressive. Real was really lucky Atletico didn't scored in those numerous opportunities they had to tie the game. In desesperation Diarra kicked the ball away to no one because of Atletico's constant attacking. Great goal by Kaka!
Madrid did a pretty good job going up 3-0. Need more work to keep that level for the whole 90 mins, and not let teams get back into the game after going up by several goals
I thought I really felt weird before I watch the highlights that Asenjo scored a goal from the goalie spot? After watching the video, actually it's Sergio Aguero, not Sergio Asenjo.
Nonetheless, great derby match. Ramos' red card really proved a difference and the two striker took advantage of it but didn't manage to scrape a draw. Atletico's defence is all over the place and made a lot of mistakes, that's their problem over the years
