We all have replied given are opinion in the past, in forums and in the pub about what we think is the best film we have ever seen.
Although it appears a lot of people tend to offer up the best film in other peoples opinions to make themselves look 'funny/cool/intellectual'.
So to cut through that I want to know what is the best film you have never bothered watching. You know the films they win oscars and get people gushing but do you watch em? Do you heck you throw on Raiders of the Lost Ark for the 672nd time.
And is it just me but does it seem that lately these films all tend to be three hours plus long, very serious and often with subtitles.
So whats the best film you have never bothered watching. Mine is actually a source of serious embarrassment as I'm sure it's a very good film and that is 'The Godfather' (or it's sequels)
Same here, I've been waiting to watch the GF trilogy for ages, I don't know whats holding me back.... Maybe its because I get my Sopranos fix every week (on season 3)
Haha I havent seen the Godfathers either or E. T. But this is also very embarassing to say, I havent seen Terminator 2 ok I'm going to buy that one today and watch it
I feel somewhat justified about this topic and the Godfather comments above, because a while back me and the missus were trying to decide what would be the next movie we would watch. We wracked our brains and then decided that by fair means or foul, we would try to watch a fair chunk of the IMDb top 250 movies over the coming months, just to see what the fuss was about. I think our biggest shock was actually getting great enjoyment out of the older ones (Casablanca, Great Escape, Hitchcock classics).

Well if it's anything like the book, it's the pooest of them all. I think Matt renamed it 'the half baked book'. Was kinda dull and lame Rest are good though

The Godfather 1, 2, or 3. I've never seen any of them. They don't really appeal to me at all. All 3 of them look boring as f**k, that's why I've never seen any of them
I have never seen or read any of the Harry Potter movies or books. I my excuse would be the same as charlie's, they look gay. I don't intend on watching them anytime soon either
Ah Scarface, an awesome film if you have not seen this film (and are 18+) I urge you with all due haste to get thee arse to dvd shop and get it out now!
So you have seen it.... Ok phew that's ok then 'cause I think its better than The Godfather movies and I know alot of people would say you can't compare them but in my opinion Scarface is better
Mean Streets and Casino are both very good and I would watch them in that order both long though so get some snacks in. Last of the Mohicans is ok in my opinion but you ain't going to get lynched down the local film club for not seeing it
