Well, football, tennis, swimming are all sports we know, but has anyone encountered or seen, or even participated in a strange sport? Post here if you have, with detail, rules, or a video!
I live in singapore but I m from myanmar.... My country play that kind of sports.... Is very porpular as well in southeast asia.... Thiland, malaysia & Indonesia also play.... We call that ball "Chin Lone" in other word "The Mystic Cane Ball" and the type of sport in the video is call "Pite Kyaw Chin" in our myanmar language, direct meaning "ball over the net".... But in southeast asia we call it "Sepaktakraw"
Did he say "count the tiles on the bottom of the pool"? Who does that while swimming?
"Sometimes it hurts".... Technically speaking it should, seeing as it is rugby! But this is polite rugby.... No punching, no interference with other players' equipment....
Is there a reason the ref is outside the pool? What happens when there is a penalty? How do they hear the whistle?
Do they scrum?
Did anyone else notice that the participating countries were mainly Scandinavian? Is there something different in the water up north?
All kidding aside.... It is interesting to see the varying interests that exist in sport, and truth be told, one of the most important aspects of life is the pursuit of happiness.... So to each his own.... You know, whatever floats your boat so to speak!
Just discovered this game's governing body has been around since 1971 which probably means that it has been around even longer.... They even have world championships! Where have I been?
It's like bouncing the ball to net, then the ball when bounce out, then after it bounce out, it must land outside the semi-circle. Opponents must try to save it using their two hands, if the opponent could not save it, it is considered one point. I think like that, kinda familiar when my school played it.
Edit: Oh ya, you must try to shoot outside of the semi-circle, if you jumped, you must release the ball before you touch the ground
