Great game, good start from Pienaar, much action, great efforts from both sides and a deserved draw!

Great game.... Tottenham can't seem to win without Bale though.... Gareth Bale is absolutely amazing and he would have definitely helped Tottenham win the game

Hope bareth gale's injury is not serious with champions league knockout on the horizon!

Such a messy, rubbish game, with a home team happy to play ten men in defence. Shame Defoe didn't score in the last seconds of the 1st half, after Van der Vaart's clever heel-flick. That would have opened up the match and we would have had a very different game.
We had several under par performances from our players. Without both BAE and Bale on the left side it sometimes barely resembled our Spurs team. It was in the air that Aaron Lennon was going to be the one providing for us, either with an assist or a goal. Excellent goal!

Hope Bale isn't seriously injured, likewise BAE. Need to get people back playing where they should, sorry Pienaar, you didn't look great today. Was a poor match all round by spurs, considering the injuries and suspensions Newcastle have they were unlucky we managed to ramraid a point at the end there.

Also.... There sits Pletikosa on our bench. He was the captain for Spartak Moscow(?) and we take him on loan for a year and have played him once. Why didn't we focus on signing what we need, a world class striker. End of discussion
Northstream (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
When we signed Pletikosa on loan, it wasn't clear how Cudicini was coming along after his injury.
I also think most of the Spurs players had a bad game. Hutton was terrible, including his flopping around himself when Newcastle scored (has happened numerous times with him). Shame Corluka or Kaboul didn't start on RB instead. Jenas also had a bad match. Hudds can't come back soon enough!

Poor man modric, how many times does he hit the posts?
Axxaer (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
Could have been so many more! Both teams were lucky and unlucky really

San Antonio Spurs is the best team to watch now in the EPL right now.
With player like:
-Christian Bale
-François Pienaar
-John Lennon
All Jamie Redknap got in his squad is speed, speed, speed

You should get your eyes checked!Lennon's close control is pretty good.... Bale is the super overrated one. Only thing he can do is run and cross.... Jesus christ how stupid capello can be. He uses milner and barry at the wings.... When there is super players like adam johnson, ashley young, aaron lennon...
Marcinny (New York Red Bulls) 4 years ago
The last minutes of the game were fantastic. Newcastle could have won this one, but Lennon goal was magic performance.
And would you believe that goal by Coloccini? Excellent

Lennon to the rescue again!
Northstream (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
Lennon has found his old self and should go straight back into the England team again!
Kodyx (Juventus) 4 years ago
He's brilliant
Goooner04 (Western Sydney Wanderers) 4 years ago
Lennon and walcott would be good for england.  Dangerous wingers.

Some days I hate being a Spurs supporter. All that thunder but no lightning.
--we have one striker that has tallied 1 goal in 23 games.
--we have another striker that drills every shot he takes directly at the keeper.
--a third striker that hasn't been the same he left for one of his many boyhood clubs.
--and a fourth striker who is the laziest motherf-er since berbatov.
What do you do with a midfield that provides so much but a strikeforce that can't score? It's no wonder we played so well when we had 10 men several games ago. The whole team was like, "hey, we can finally stop trying to play the ball to those wastes of space in the box and do the work ourselves. "
X6alalx (Newcastle United) 4 years ago
Without andy we have the same problem, no one is scoring its frustrating really, but never in my life I hated being a toon supporter
Northstream (Tottenham Hotspur) 4 years ago
It was one of our worst matches in a long time, still managed to get away with a point - thanks to Lennon.
Regarding our strikers, they need to get more steady playtime. There's no method to the madness with how Pavlyuchenko is played. He occasionally gets half a match here, half a match there. If he was a regular starter, he would score more goals. Look at Berbatov now for United. Most United fans wanted to give him away to anybody last season. Ferguson has got him as the EPL topscorer this season!
