Yo guys, I was introduced to the site - by my friend visiting Tokyo a few weeks ago - which is great to catch up on events in football - if you don't want to stay up at odd hours to watch games here in the land of the rising sun.
I live in Tokyo, was born in Russia, but learned the game mainly in the you S of A. I am happy to see the game growing in north america, though the progress seems slow. Japan is also quite a football *soccer" crazy country since cohosting the worldcup so in that sense is a good place to live for a footy fan.

I play locally for fun, typically in the middle of the pitch - though when I was younger and played more seriously I played at left back.

I'm looking to make friends on the site - especially to discuss premier league football. Perhaps there is someone here from Tokyo? If so please say hi
