Your dreamfooty team doesn't play against other dreamfooty teams. Your chosen players get points based on how they have performed in real-world matches. For example if Ronaldo scores a winning goal, then he gets points for the goal, and for the win.

If you go to your dreamfooty management console and click on the amount of points each player has, you get a pop up that shows how the player earned those points

No mate, only league, fa cup, , league cup, then champions league and europa cup, and there is no assist points for league cup games.
Needless to say la liga, serie A and the bundesliga have their own versions of the fa cup and league cup, so no assist points in their version of the league cup either

Two years ago it did have a bearing, but in all honesty what chance would anyone have when I have over £200m at times.... Lol.
So it wouldn't be very fair, so its a two tier system now for regular users, and pro+ users.

With due respect, matt and co, you've done a fantastic job with the dreamfooty.... But compared to last year the the TW is a bit too inconvenient....

First of all you opened the TW when nobody wanted it, within just 1 month from the start of the season. And now you are saying the TW will only be in february.... That's like 5-6 months stretch....

According to your principle, the purpose of TW is to balance out the game and keep the competition alive, for which last year's TW timing was perfect. Now could you please explain me the reason for opening the TW so early and nothing in between.... You had it opening every 3 months, so a badly suffering team could revive and come back into competition with some replacement. But without a TW till february, the game will be done and dusted....

In real life, even a manager prepares for his season knowing they have a TW opening in jan, so if something goes wrong they can use it, and all the players here thought the same. At least we should have a clear set of mind. Last year you had it opened just at the right time, but this year , the timing looks a bit inappropriate....

(irrelevant of the fact that pro players have the advantage of 2 ETW.).... But I didn't see it coming and used my ETW before the price inflates again.... I think a bit of consistency with the TW period would be better....

Maybe the best way to satisfy a lot of people is for next season (or euro champs or whatever), there's an announcement saying transfer windows are X, why and Z before the season even starts

Well, although I don't like to whine, I do agree more clarity would benefit everyone. It will reduce the (same) questions popping up all the time, making life easier for DF fanatics and the mods, and a fixed set of rules will avoid people complaining that things aren't fair

As always we listen to your comments on the game and will bear them in mind when we set the rules out for the Euro 2012 game and then the new season

I don't know why matt and whoever else involved in the decision making thought it would be a good idea to change something that wasn't broken. I thought the timing of transfer windows in the last two seasons worked very well.

But truthfully, NO ONE knows until matt declares his hand, which is good, as there is no reason why I should know before you or any other member, that wouldn't be fair.

Man I am barely hanging on by a thread here! My star defender's been on the shelf since the beginning of october and I already used my emergency xfers on other injuries. I think i'd be in the top 10 right now if carvalho hadn't have gone down. Have some sympathy for a man in need =((((

I had all 3 star players out at the same time last season, I know its a pain, but theres a hell of a lot of luck involved with this game, so consider yourself unlucky, like I was last year.

It's a "pay what you think is fair" system, so you can just pay what you think is fair, and half goes to charity
